"Morning," you waved at the team as you walked into the kitchen the next morning, sliding into the empty seat at the island next to Wanda before grabbing a banana. "Anything interesting happen to you guys so far?"

"Cap beat me running today, again," Sam rolled his eyes, letting out an annoyed sigh. "Is it really necessary for him to shout 'On your left' four times in a row when he's perfectly aware of the fact that I'm much slower than him?"

"I beat him a few times before," you admitted as you took a sip of your coffee.

"What? How?"

"Don't forget I was enhanced, too," you reminded him. "Not exactly super-speed like Pietro's, but increased running speed and strength, telekinesis, and fire and ice manipulation."

"Mind-control buddies," you and Wanda exchanged small smiles.

"You guys are really helping me boost my ego here," he said sarcastically. "Thanks a lot."

"Nat," you turned to Natasha, "can you meet me in the training room after breakfast?"

"Sure," she shrugged.

...

"So," she exhaled loudly, shaking her hands out before setting up the punching bags. "what's up?"

"Well, I was thinking..." you said as you threw a rather aggressive punch at the punching bag so that it's sound echoed across the walls.

"Oh no. You're not thinking about pulling another prank on Loki again, are you?" she groaned. "He put chicken noodle soup in my shower head so I couldn't go out all day."

"We should do something today, after this," you turned to smile over at her. "Since we've been going on missions and training nonstop for the past month. We need a break."

"I like where you're going with this," she smiled back. "What are we doing?"

"I was thinking that you, Clint, Steve, and I go somewhere today," you suggested. "and just have some fun. We could go paintballing."

"That actually sounds like a pretty good idea," she responded, too busy thinking about how great this would work out for you and Steve to realize what you were really planning.

"I'll go ask them and see if they're willing to come along," you said.

...

You walked back upstairs to the living room to find Steve and Clint casually playing cards with one another.

"Oh, hey, Y/N," Clint waved as he took a card from the main deck. "What's up?"

"I was wondering, since we don't have anything to do today, we could do something exciting for a change. Paintballing. What do you think?" you asked, hoping that they didn't hear the slightly hopeful tone in your voice.

"I'm down," he nodded. "I'm actually decent at using snipers. Steve?"

"I'm in," Steve nodded as well. "When should we be ready?"

"Half an hour," you answered. "See you."

"See you," they called back. You were almost giddy with excitement---your plan was going to go perfectly and Clint and Natasha would finally, finally do something about their feelings for one another.

"How'd it go?" Natasha was sitting on the edge of your bed with a wide grin on her face, eager to hear about the news. "Did they say yes?"

"Yup. We're leaving in half an hour, so we should probably get ready now."

...

Steve drove the four of you out to an outdoor facility in Staten Island. Clint and Natasha were talking nonstop the entire time in the backseat and you looked back, an evil grin appearing on your face.
