Peter is frowning when he walks into Tony's lab. Tony notices his attitude and spins around in his chair. "What's up, kiddo?"

"Mr. Stark, whenever you made Rhodey upset, what'd you do to fix it?" Peter asks, looking up at him.

Tony blinks and furrows his brows. "Why? Is something going on with Ned?"

"We had a fight. Things were said on both sides and I really wanna take it back but he's not answering my calls. He's not even answering my texts, they're all on read." Peter sighs. "It's been like, a week. This is the longest fight we've ever had. I just want my best friend back."

Peter's voice breaks a little at the end of his sentence. He looks devastated. Tony frowns and gets up from his chair, walking over and embracing him in a hug.

"I'm sorry," Tony hugs him tightly and then pulls away. "Friendships are tough, kid. Plus, you and Ned are inseparable, I'm sure things will smooth over."

"But what if they don't?" Peter asks with worry and uncertainty clouding his eyes. They blend in with the tears. "What if we never make up? He's been my best friend since kindergarten. He knows everything about me. I can't lose him over this."

Tony ruffles his hair. "Hey. Listen to me. Don't worry about it. I'm serious. You lift up literal buildings. What could you have said that was so bad it wouldn't be fixable?"

Peter gives him a sad look. "I told him the ending of the new Star Wars trailer before he had seen it."

Tony stops and then sighs deeply. He pulls away. "Get out of my lab."

"Wh-"

"Out."

Peter picks up his backpack. "Understandable, have a nice day."

He turns to the door and starts walking out.

"Good luck with Ned!" Tony calls lamely after him.

"Thank!"
