"That's not true." He was quick to disagree.
"We've been on the same team since 2012. That's seven years, Clint. She hasn't said one word to me in seven years." I deadpanned.
"Well how about we fix that?" Clint smiled brightly, grabbing my hand and dragging me down the hall while I protested against it.
"Hey, Nat."
"Hey, Barton. Whatcha need?" The ginger crossed her arms over her chest.
"I'd like you to meet-"
"Romanoff! We got a mission so suit up!" Steve yelled from down the hall.
"Duty calls. See you later Clint."
And like that she was off.
"See?" I huffed. "She doesn't know I'm alive. I mean she didn't even spare me a glance!"

Here I was staring from afar as I ate my breakfast with Clint. Natasha was watching some show on the tv with Carol and Wanda, smiling and laughing. The others knew who I was but not her. Seven years and she still didn't know who I was. Why?

"No!" Clint laughed loudly, "I mean... maybe, But! Something that doesn't require you having to hide a body."
