DOCTOR STRANGE POV
The phone called ended just as quickly as it started. My heart dropped into the pit of my stomach as I realized that a lot of us wouldn't make it out of this alive. There were too many aliens coming that we couldn't be in ten places at once.
"Fuck." I muttered under my breath.
"Y/ns refused to help us." I spoke over the com line.
"What?" Cap grunted.
"It's been a pleasure working with you all." I swallowed the lump in my throat.
"Strange, no! Hela, Nat, Wanda, go and find y/n and convince her to help us. We are not dying today!"
YOUR POV
"You Avengers don't give up do you?" I shook my head once I walked past my dining room table, seeing three woman seated.
"You guys can come into the light now. Sitting in the dark like a bunch a creepy ass-"
"The world needs your help." Black Widow husked. I rolled my eyes as I turned back around to face her.
"No, the world needs your help. I'm not an Avenger."
"Clearly the Avengers can't do this alone." Widow crosses her arms over her chest and leaned her weight on her right foot, her hip jutting out and I had to stop myself from letting my eyes wander.
"Please." A sokovian woman begged.
"Let's say I help you and we win. The public takes one look at me and they're screaming, going to grab their pitch forks and taser guns. Pretty soon all of New York is chasing me because I've got another bounty on my head. I'm running, trying to stay off the grid because I am not GOING BACK IN A CAGE!"
I could tell the three woman weren't expecting my little outburst, all of their faces were filled with shock as I took deep breaths to calm down. My teeth went back to their normal size and I'm sure my eyes weren't a deep amber.
"You're not going to back in a cage. We won't let that happen to you." The sokovian told me softly.
"When people see you as a monster-"
"You're not a monster. You're just misunderstood." The female version of Loki gave me a small smile.
"Come back to Asgard with me. Nobody will ever find you there. You'll be safe until you wish to come back to earth." She said.
"Please, y/n. We need your help." Black Widow sighed tiredly.
Tossing my head back I groaned, knowing these three stubborn woman got their way.
"Fine." I huffed, "But don't expect me to play equally as nice with the others."
The three woman laughed as I took one last look at my small home before we left to save the world.
