"What are you doing?" Nat asked as I felt her burning gaze on the back of my head.
Yellow diamonds in the light And we're standing side by side As your shadow crosses mine What it takes to come alive
"What does it look like I'm doing?" I scoffed, shoving more clothes into the duffle bag.
"You're packing. Why?" The bed shifted as the ginger plopped down, watching my every move.
It's the way I'm feeling I just can't deny But I've gotta let it go
Shoving all my bathroom necessities in the bag, my hand hovered over the zipper as my wrist was caught in her hand. Ripping my hand out of her grip I looked her dead in the eye as I zipped up the duffle.
"I can't do this anymore, Natasha." I sighed in frustration as I ran my hands through my tousled hair.
"Do what?" Her eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly.
"Oh don't play dumb!" I rolled my eyes, "I can't do this! I can't do us anymore. I can't do the lies and the sneaking around and pretending everything is fine when it's not. I can't be with someone who makes me feel alone when I'm with them."

"I can change, y/n. I can if that's what you want." Nats tone was on the verge of begging.
"You shouldn't have to change for me, Nat. You should change because you want to. I don't know..." I sighed, "Maybe we both have some growing up to do."
"So what does that mean for us?" Her tongue poked out and licked her lips.
"We're over. I'm done. The end."
With that confession I grabbed my duffle bag and walked out of our bedroom in our shared apartment, pulling my phone out to call Bucky and Steve.
