Claire paced in the kitchen slowly. Her mind was running wild. Caroline sat at the kitchen table, her eyes watching Claire anxiously. Every now and then Claire would stop, look like she was going to say something and then start to pace again. Eventually, Caroline couldn't take it anymore.
"Will you say something?!" She snapped. Claire glances at her. "Please." She said gentler.
"I'm having a hard time comprehending what you're telling me, so sorry if I take a couple of minutes to myself" Claire snapped. She then started laughing, Caroline winced knowing Claire was starting to lose her mind. "How? I want to know how" Claire stops in front of Caroline.
"It just happened" Caroline said. Claire snorts and returns to her pacing.
"It just happened" Claire mutters. She snorts again.
"Claire, I didn't mean for it to happen." Caroline said her shoulders slumping. "You don't understand."
"I don't understand?" Claire asked looking at her. "I can understand being horny, Caroline. I can understand enhanced horniness" Claire said knowing that when her and Elijah completed the bond their desire for each other reached a supernatural level. "What I don't understand is how you can sleep with Tyler Lockwood" Claire snapped. Caroline sighs. "Do you have feelings for him?"
"No, absolutely not" Caroline denies instantly.
"Oh my fucking God you do" Claire said seeing right through Caroline lie. "Oh my God! Caroline!"
"What?" Caroline whimpers. "I didn't mean for any of this to happen! It just did!" Caroline whined.
"How can you have feelings for him Caroline!? Do you not remember what he did to me?" Claire snapped.
"I do! Of course I remember which makes me feel all the more guilty! But I can't control my feelings! And I've tried to ignore them but..." Caroline trails off.
"Yeah, cause sleeping with him is exactly what you do when you try ignore feelings" Claire rolls her eyes. Caroline sighs, her head dropping.
"I don't know what you want me to say" Caroline whispers.
"I want you to tell me that you're not going to keep seeing him. That you're going to tell him to fuck off and never talk to you again" Claire said. Caroline reluctantly looks at her.
"I can't do that" Caroline whispers. "I've broken off my friendships with Stefan, Bonnie and Elena for you and your mates. I know Tyler's hurt you... but please accept it. Accept it for me." Caroline pleads.
"I can't" Claire whispers. "Because I know Tyler. I know him better than anyone. He's going to hurt you Caroline. He's going to love you, you're going to love him and it's going to be amazing." Claire smiles softly. "And then he's going to see a nice piece of ass and just like Adam, he's going to go for the forbidden fruit. He's going to break your heart and leave you like you're nothing." She whispers.
