"Are you going to stand there all day, Princess?" Finn's voice breaks the silence. Claire smile deepens slightly. She had been busying herself around the house, trying to keep herself occupied. Klaus and Elijah were discussing business that she didn't understand, Kol and Henrik were keeping Asher and Archie from driving Hanna up a wall, Rebekah and Penny were dressing up Madelyn, and Caroline is out with Tyler.

Finn has been in the mansions library for a while. Claire hadn't wanted to disturb him so she tried finding other things to do. She spent most of her time with the horses and the other hybrids. While Klaus wasn't terrible to them, he hadn't taken the time to actually get to know any of them. Even though they are sired to him it didn't make sense to her on why someone would dedicate their lives for someone they didn't know, so, Claire decided she was going to start changing that. There's a lot of Hybrids but she started to get to know a few, it was a start.

However, eventually Claire became bored again. She had gotten so used to being... entertained by the towns drama and her mates constantly around her that she didn't know what to do when she suddenly had time to herself. Eventually, she found herself standing in the door way of the library. Finn had yet to move from his position though he seemed to be speeding through the book he had started to read.

"I didn't want to disturb you." Claire said quietly. She couldn't remember the last time she was in a library. She wasn't a straight A student and she spent most of her time partying not reading.

"Come here" He holds his hand out, beckoning to her. She instantly walks over to him. She went to sit beside him, grabbing his outstretched hand while she moved to the empty spot. However, he pulled her into his lap. She giggled sitting sideways, her legs dangling over the armrest.

He grins loving the sound of her sweet giggle. He also loved seeing the bright smile on her face. Everything had been so hectic lately that she always seemed so serious, so much older than she actually is. Now she looks like the carefree teenager she should be and he's enjoying her tranquility.

"Do you enjoy reading?" She asks him. His arm wraps around her back, pulling her comfortably against his chest. She snuggles closer to him, her small figure curling on his lap. Her head rests on his shoulder while he holds the book in his free hand.

"It is one of the activities I do to pass the time." He says to her.

"I've never been much of a reader" She admits to him. "I always found that partying, gossiping with Caroline and going to the Grill more entertaining." She tells him.

"We can do something else if you wish, Princess" Finn says kissing the top of her head.

"No, you were reading... I don't care what we do, I just want to be with you." She mutters rubbing her head against his shoulder. He grins slightly. "Can you read to me?" She whispers. He nods and begins to read the words off the page.

Claire could listen to him talk all day. She loves the soothing sound of his voice. He read the words with much concentration. It's obvious to her he's enjoying the book, he's engrossed with what he's reading. It's like he's in another world.
