"Where are we going?" Rosé asked her friend as she sat in the passenger seat. They had been driving for twenty minutes and Lisa shrugged. "Just a place I would like to visit with you".

Chaeyoung blushed a bit and gazed out of the window. Lisa wanted to go there with her? Why? It wasn't as if they were dating. They were just friends.

"Don't worry. I think you'll like it."

Rosé bit back a smile and nodded.

She was excited. Her stomach was turning into slight knots and she couldn't help but glance at her friend once in a while.

She knew that she had a crush on her friend, and she had to prevent her feelings from growing, yet everything Lisa did made that hard for her to do.

If only Lisa liked her back.

Ten minutes later Lisa pulled up at the place.

"Mahogany Café?" Rosé questioned as she read the sign.

"Yes I-" "Oh my god! These are so beautiful!" She squealed as she saw the patches with daisies on the side of the entrance. "I know... You haven't seen anything yet though. Let's go inside?"

Rosé smiled and nodded. The two girls walked inside and Chaeyoung her mouth started to water already. The smell of fresh bread of coffee welcomed them.

"This place is amazing!" She looked around and Lisa guided her into the line that led to the counter.

"What do you want?" Lisa asked as she eyed the menu. Rosé was quick to chose a croissant with a cup of mochaccino. Lisa on the other hand settled for a iced coffee with extra vanilla and a piece of crepé cake. Once they got their meal on a tray, they made their way up the stairs and settled at a table near the glass window.

They admired the beautiful and started to eat. A conversation blossoming between them.

"When did you discover this Café? The coffee and this croissant are heavenly" Rosé beamed making Lisa smile softly at her friend.

"I didn't discover it. My mom did. She always used to take me here when she had time. It was one of our rituals. One of our escape places." Lisa explained.

"Mommy can we go please?" A teary eyed Lisa asked her mother. The woman took one glance at her daughter before nodding.

"Of course sweetie. Give me five minutes okay? You can pick out a car already. I will be down in no time."

The eleven year old girl nodded before disappearing towards the garage. She walked between the rows of cars. She settled on the pitch black Mazda car with lavender interior. She quickly went back inside and chose the right key before unlocking the car and sitting down in the passenger seat.

Soon her mother got into sight. She stepped into the car and they drove off.

Her mother turned on the radio and no words were said. The silence was good enough for her at the moment. The drive took them around the thirty minutes. They lived more to the south west of Seoul where it was more peaceful and a part of only the richest people in Korea lived. It was a big excluded gated community.

Soon they were on Ganghwa island and drove to their usual café. As they walked inside there were immediately recognized by a few people. They tried to ignore the stares and phones and just went up to buy their food.

Lisa chose an iced coffee and a sandwich while her mother just ordered a black coffee. They took their meal in their hands and went upstairs to sit at a table. They chose one next to the glass window and gazed onto the ocean located not too far away.
