In the middle of the dark, I found my light.

Chapter 58: The end, for now.

Ace looked at his body and the details of his death cane running back to him. "Let's go Charlie." Ace said and helped Charlie up and started walking away. "alastor!" Charlie shouted. Ace looked back and saw she was trying to keep up. His heart crumpled. 

he ran over to her. "I'm sorry honey...these stupid emotions." Ace apologized. Charlie waved him off and pecked his cheek. Ace explained he knew a secret place to get gas, and the two headed towards the place. The arrived at a abandoned gas station, with ace going in first. 

Charlie followed and stared in awe. "woah..." Charlie said impressed. Ace chuckled and went into the back room and came back with a huge gallon of gasoline. "come on Charlie." Ace said and took Charlie's hand in his. 

They walked back to the time machine, and as Ace was filling up the tank, Charlie looked at the stars. They where so beautiful, she had never seen anything like it before. Ace finished filling up the tank and saw her staring at the night sky. Ace walked over to her and placed his hands on her shoulders and pointed out the constellations. 

"That one's Scorpio, the scorpion constellation and considered by many to be one of the most powerful in the zodiac." Ace explained. He pointed to another one. "that one's Capricorn, the goat sign." Ace pointed to one that was north. 

The two stayed out for another two hours, looking at the sky and Ace teaching Charlie about the constellations. Charlie yawned and titled backwards from falling asleep and ace carried her to the time machine. He couldn't wait to be home, he would always have a soft spot for earth, but he belonged to hell. 

he strapped Charlie Into one of the seats and punched in the destination and time. He nodded to himself and a mist was released and they turned demon again. Charlie woke up and saw alastor instead of ace. Charlie unstrapped herself and ran up to alastor and gave him a huge hug. "oh I missed you so much!" Charlie said. Alastor laughed and hugged her back. 

The two sat in the seats and alastor pushed the button to start it and the two jolted back. after five seconds they where at, THE HOTEL? wtf...Charlie thought to herself. Charlie looked at alastor who looked down at her. "Charlie don't you understand? the first day here, when all of this started, that was us! I'm positive! didn't you see me?" he asked. Charlie blushed but nodded. 

"Honey that was us! that day I saw you! well, winking at me, but that's not the point! the point is this is one.huge.loop, and now we go back and do our share, than we go home!" Alastor explained. Charlie thought about it and nodded. 

Alastor snapped and the two where ghosts. "ok lets do this, you to my room, me to your room." Alastor explained. The two shared a quick kiss and they left the machine, heading in the directions of there room. 

ALASTOR FIRST PERSON POV 

I walked over to the first floor of where my room was. I walked in the lobby, thankfully invisible to everyone else. I saw myself walking down the hallway, humming your never fully dressed to myself. I rolled my eyes at my younger self, so young and ignorant. I remebered this moment and gasped and bolted across the room to be behind a plotted plant. 

Charlie bumped into me and the old scenario carried out. I chuckled at the conversation, young me and young charlie had no idea what we just started. I saw vaggie walking down the opposite hallway with angle, than when she saw me and Charlie talking, oh boy. 

she did her casual threats until angle dragged her away. as I was watching the point where husk was coming happened, and I knew we had to make it to our rooms. "hey lovebirds, I've got free drinks at the bar and ILL LEAVE YOU TWO ALONE!" husk said and ran. I finally knew the reason he ran. The reason was...Me. I had gone behind us and went HUGE and into my demon form at the same time.
