Chapter 46: Snatched

Sabrina's POV

I look at the morning sky. I suddenly smiled. The sunrise, the morning air, the bird chirps and the trees swaying.

This is the day that I come near him again.

"I'm Sorry." I suddenly say, so we suddenly stop from walking. And he face me.

"Sorry for what?", he ask while his eyebrow is up.

"Because you're not happy with me." I face him with a sad face.

"No... Don't mind that." he smiled. "Always remember... Because of you my boring life turns into a happy one. You're the best girlfriend I had." and he kissed my forehead.

Then everything went black.

I woke up at my room and look around.

It's all a dream? Together? Sorry? Best Girlfriend I had? David? Is a big dream? Just a dream?

But why that dream is like a reality. I hold my chest... And then my heart beats fast.

What's happening?!?

I never had this in my entire life. This is my heart begins to beat fast. That something we're going to happen to someone. And I know that it's bad.

I don't know who.

I'm not a fortune teller but I feel that something bad happen.

David...

I suddenly think of him.

Did something bad happen to him?

It's been a month since we saw each other. It's been a month that I don't have anything communication with him. Nor his friends and cousins.

We live at the same subdivision but we don't see each other.

I'm always avoiding them.

Maybe, because he is studying with his course or with his girlfriend. Or even their restaurant.

And so I did. I'm busy with studies and finding where is Edwin and Pogs. I haven't heard any of them.

But why do I feel that something might happen to him?

But why I am so concerned with that boy. He even hurt me for the second time. Why do I even think of him?

He's nothing from now on.

David's POV

Lumabas ako ng bahay dahil tutulugan daw ako nila Potpot para mapasakin ulit si Sabrina.

That girl... I haven't heard any of them.

Duma-daan ako sa tapat ng bahay nila pero laging naka-sarado. Para ngang wala nang nakatira sa kanila eh. Dati kasi ay nakatambay pa siya sa garden ng bahay nila... May swing kasi doon. Minsan ay naka-earphone siya... Minsan naman ay kuma-kanta siya with her guitar. Lagi ko siyang nakikita nang hindi niya alam.

Ano kayang ginagawa niya ngayon?

Habanh naglalakad ako palabas ng subdivision namin ay nakita ko si Sabrina. May kausap sa phone at ang saya-saya niya.

"Yeah... Kakauwi ko lang. What?! 7:00 PM is like 4:00 PM to me. Yeah... Thanks for the night." rinig kong sabi niya sa katawag niya sa cellphone. At nilagpasan niya ako.

Did she saw me? Or she's just pretending that didn't saw me?

'Yong kausap niya sa phone, was that her boyfriend? But, anong klaseng boyfriend naman iyon... Hindi man lang siya hinatid.

Umupo ako sa tambayan namin nila Potpot, nong liligawan dapat ni Andrei si Sabrina kaso girlfriend ko na siya. Kaya wala na siyang magagawa. Yon yong galing silang compiter shop at naka-uwi na ng 9 na ng gabi. Tapos naalala ko pa non ay sinugatan pa siya ni Mark.

Wait... Si Mark... Nagkabati na kaya sila?

Umupo ako sa bench at hinintay ang mga tropa ko.

Ngayon ko na lang ulit nakita si Sabrina? At para sa akin, pumayat siya lalo. Kung payat siya noon, mas payat siya ngayon.

Is she busy with her studies that she almost forgot to eat? Or with her gang?

Even ate Andrea, wala na akong contact sa kaniya.

Hinabol ko sila dahil kinuha nila ang cellphone ko pero no sense dahil naka-motor sila at tuma-takbo lang ako.
