byeongkwan had to pull you inside the church and drag you to a seat.
yeonjun was stood by the alter. he looked nervous and shy which was rare seeing yeonjun in such a flustered state.
he looked good in a suit but he ditched the blue hair and he has gone to his natural brown.
it then made you remember the conversation you and yeonjun had a few weeks ago.
lia wanted yeonjun to go natural for the wedding. according to her 'blue is tacky'.
"he looks like he's about to run away," byeongkwan whispered to you. "maybe he's having second thoughts."
"i hope so," you whispered back. "i don't just want him to change his mind because i love him. i just don't want him to make the biggest mistake of his life. as his best friend i can't let him do that."
byeongkwan grabbed your hand and gave it a squeeze.
the guests settled themselves and stopped their conversations so you assumed the wedding was about to begin.
the song that played at pretty much every single wedding was played on a piano and everyone's heads automatically turned to the door.
you followed their gazes and saw lia slowly walking down the aisle with her father.
she looked beautiful which wasn't new.
everyone excluding you and byeongkwan were staring in awe.
byeongkwan had a look of disgust and you simpily rolled your eyes at everyone's dumbfounded expressions.
you turned to yeonjun who was pale and his hands slightly shook.
"yeonjun doesn't look too good," you mumbled.
byeongkwan shrugged. "i guess he's just nervous."
when lia finally arrived at the alter yeonjun reluctantly took her hand in his.
there was something that threw you off about yeonjun's attitude.
he looked like he didn't want to be there which was weird since the past few weeks the only thing yeonjun has spoken about is getting married.
the priest started to speak but you ignored him and stared at yeonjun who was staring into space.
yeonjun then lifted his head up and turned to the guests. his eyes widened when he spotted you among the many guests.
yeonjun didn't have to say anything for you to know exactly how he was feeling.
he knew that he was about to make a mistake.
and it was too late to go back.
"yeonjun," the priest said. "do you take lia kwon to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
all eyes were on yeonjun, awaiting his reply.
yeonjun wasn't looking at lia or the priest. his eyes stared right into yours.
"i don't," yeonjun finally replied.
people gasped and put their hands on their mouths.
yeonjun walked towards you and surprised everyone by grabbing your hand.
"yeonjun--"
yeonjun dragged you out of the church and to the church gardens.
"i was stupid," yeonjun said. "i was blind. you were right. you were always right but i refused to believe you."
yeonjun removed his blazer and ripped of his tie.
"i was stupid," yeonjun said again. "lia doesn't love me. you love me."
you wrapped your arms around yeonjun's waist.
"thank you for caring about me," yeonjun whispered. "you truly loved me and i took me too long to realise. please forgive me."
"i forgive you, jun." you hugged yeonjun even harder.
