your relationship with soobin wasn't the same as it used to be.
you were both originally known to be the cheesy couple. you'd always get eachother gifts, go on dates every weekend, skinship 24/7 and always give eachother pet names.
you were the couple people admired and were jealous of. so many people wished they had a relationship like you and soobin did.
all your friends said that you and soobin were just perfect but in a way...they kind of jinxed it?
"i don't see why you're starting another argument soobin," you said, tiredly.
"i'm not starting another argument. you're the one starting the argument. i just asked you where you were. that's all." soobin folded his arms. "since you're getting all triggered this must mean something."
"and what must that mean soobin?" you also folded your arms.
soobin shrugged. "you tell me."
you sighed as you made your way to the kitchen. "i don't have the patience for this. i just went out for a meal with a friend and i get hassled for it."
"which friend? did you know i got a text from someone. they told me that you've been going around with some guy. which guy?"
you took a deep breath and selected your words carefully.
you hated arguing with soobin.
"that guy happened to be hendery. we used to go to school together and we just stopped talking when he became an idol. we've reconnected now so we've been seeing eachother a lot more."
"that's all you needed to tell me y/n. we didn't need to have yet another argument."
you poured your self a drink but you made no effort to actually drink it. you just wanted something to do.
"what have i done to make you not trust me? you always assume the worst."
"i rarely see you so what do you expect me to think."
"i rarely see you either!" and that's when you lost all control. "your literally never here. sometimes i feel like i'm dating..."
"what?" soobin demanded. "finish your sentence."
you raised the glass to your lips and drank the cold drink.
soobin made his way to you. he took the glass out of your hand and placed it on the counter.
"finish your sentence," he repeated.
"sometimes...i feel like i'm dating hendery."
soobin didn't say anything. his face had no emotion as he stared at you.
"okay." he nodded. "okay. if you feel like you're dating hendery then what's the point in me being here."
"soobin wait—"
soobin left the kitchen and you quickly followed him.
soobin went up the stairs and into your shared bedroom.
"soobin," you said.
soobin ignore you as he grabbed his bag and stuffed all his clothes and necessities inside.
"you can keep this place," he mumured.
"soobin please," you pleaded. "i didn't mean what i said."
soobin looked at you and smiled sadly. "you did. you meant every word. i just hope that he'll be a better boyfriend for you."
"i don't want him for a boyfriend!" you exclaimed. "i want you choi soobin!"
soobin put his bag on and made his way out of the room and down the stairs.
you ran after him and grabbed his shoulder.
"please don't leave," you pleaded.
"it'll be the best for both of us if i leave," was all soobin said before he put his shoes on and left the house you both used to share.
"i don't want you to leave." you sunk to the ground, tears threatening to fall.
