CHAPTER FOUR

"The man's really shady, you know?" Jungkook mumbled as he gently rubbed my fingers.

It was Saturday already. Jungkook came home to visit since he's just a house away. I looked over at his profile that glistened under the sunlight that was seeping through the window blinds. I still couldn't believe that my dream came true.

I got flustered when Jungkook caught me staring. But what got me more flustered was when he pecked my lips, followed by a smile playing on his face.

"You gotta stop doing that out of the blue." I gently smacked his chest, but before I could pull away, he trapped me in his arms and rolled onto his back. The air in my lungs knocked out at his sudden action that got me face-to-face with him with my body completely stuck to his.

I bit my lips as blood rushed to my face when he continued staring at me.

His arm encircled around the curve of my back, while the other palm was placed against my face, rubbing my skin in a soothing manner, "I'm so lucky."

"I am." I whispered in the lowest voice known to mankind because Jungkook's charm was only making it harder and harder for me to breathe, speak and basically everything that has to do with basic functionality.

His lips captured the pair of mine, gently caressing them with so much affection and care.

As our lips were still connected, he placed me back onto the bed as he hovered over me. As every second passed by, I felt the kiss getting heated.

But I didn't stop.

This was something I had never felt before and it felt so good! My fingers found their way to his hair, but before I could pull him closer, a loud honk jerked me up from the bed, hitting Jungkook's face in the process.

"Oh, my god! Jungkook! I'm so sorry!" I examined his face but thankfully it wasn't anything serious.

"It's okay." He chuckled, rubbing his nose, "Who the hell was that anyway!"

I got off the bed and looked out of the window. My eyes grew wide when I noticed a familiar, tall man get out of a car.

"Ugh! He's here!" I sighed and picked up my bag from the chair, swinging it over my shoulder.

"Oh, okay. I'll walk you out." He held my hand as we headed downstairs.

"What a pleasant day!" Mr Kim exclaimed as I stepped out of the gate along with Jungkook by my side, "Or not." He looked over at Jungkook and mumbled to himself but it was loud enough for me to hear it.

"I'll see you later, yeah?" I hugged and kissed Jungkook's cheek before I got into the car.

"Does he ever leave you alone?" Mr Kim scowled as he adjusted his seatbelt beside me.

"Why do you care?"

Two hours.

That's how long they had been staring at a variety of artworks ranging from paintings to sculptures to videos to installations.

And still nothing.

Except a fly and a few cobwebs around her brain.

"You're just wasting your time, you know?" Anna sighed, blankly staring at the abstract art in front of her.

"Maybe you should stop worrying about my time and worry more about your art project." A sickly-sweet smile twisted onto his lips when his eyes met with his long-lost lover.

Anna just rolled her eyes and went back to staring into the non-existent soul of the artwork. She so much rather be with her boyfriend right now, but she couldn't! Thanks to this devilishly handsome man who happened to be her art teacher.

"Why are my ideas so important to you? Why do you bother yourself so much? Aren't teachers restricted from doing things like this?" Anna quirked a brow at her teacher.

"Your ideas are important to me because you're one of the top students and I can't let you slip by with passing marks, which is why I am bothered to take you to places that could inspire you. And no, I am not restricted from doing this because I'm helping you out as a teacher." He smirked, stuffing his hands into his pant pockets, "Unless you want to do something else that doesn't involve me being a teacher."

"What?" Anna asked as she didn't hear the last part that Taehyung whispered to himself. Taehyung shook his head and sighed with relief when she didn't suspect him.

Phew! That was a close call!

Taehyung genuinely didn't want Annabeth to fail his class. One, because she was his student and two, because he didn't want to see the love of his life regret not taking her assignment seriously.

He looked over at Annabeth who was at the other end of the room, looking into a painting. He sighed and walked over to her, "You know what?" He caught her wrist and pulled her out of the gallery before she could register what he was doing and protest back.

"What are you doing!" She yelled as she snatched her wrist away from his grasp. It was too late, they were already outside the gallery and were now getting strange looks from people.

"Why did you drag me out!" She said in a lower voice, gritting her teeth.

"This isn't helping you, Beth. You-"

"It's Annabeth for you. We aren't close enough to be called by nicknames." She clenched her jaw once more. Taehyung stared intensely into her eyes and neither of them seemed to back off until Taehyung sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Annabeth, you aren't taking the help I'm offering you."

"Thank you for the offer, but I never asked for it." She folded her arms across her chest and looked away, not wanting to have a part in this conversation anymore.

"Okay, fine." Taehyung sighed for the hundredth time, "Do you want ice cream?"

He noticed the way her eyes twinkled at the mention of ice cream and smiled victoriously to himself. All it took was the mentioning of ice cream to get on her good side. He smiled thinking how tough she acted on the outside but was actually innocent and naïve. He didn't need her answer anymore, "Let's go."

He took a hold of her wrist once again, but this time it was gentle. He smiled once again when she didn't protest, but let him guide them to an ice cream parlour.

"I didn't say yes, you know?" Anna muttered.

"I know. You didn't say no either." Taehyung looked over his shoulder. His heart skipped a beat when he saw a hue of red brushing against her cheeks.

Maybe this time... I'll finally have you to myself.
