CHAPTER TEN
"This isn't the way to my house." Anna looked an the unfamiliar place from the window, "Where are you taking me?"
Taehyung continued driving silently.
"Taehyung!" Anna looked at him, to which he smirked.
"Don't worry, I'm not kidnapping you."
"SAID EVERY SERIAL KILLER!"
Anna folded her arms across her chest and fell back into her seat, pouting like a stubborn kid who's lollipop got pulled away for not behaving. Taehyung chuckled to himself when he took a glance at her and shook his head.
"Could you at least tell me where you're taking me?"
Taehyung came to a rough halt and turned off his car, "We're here."
Anna looked out of the window and noticed the tall trees surrounding them. She got out of the car when Taehyung did and took quick steps to reach him.
"Where are we?" She looked up at him, footsteps in sync with his.
"My cabin." Taehyung looked at the small wooden structure in front of him.
Anna's brows jumped when she turned forward and came across the little cottage in front of her, "Whoa!"
She walked closer and examined it, "I've never seen a cottage like this before."
"It's my ancestorial cottage." Taehyung walked to the front door and pulled out a large key, "It was made during the Victorian era."
"Really?" Anna gasped and quickly followed him inside.
"Yeah." Taehyung turned around abruptly to face Annabeth, causing her to bump into his chest, "Clumsy much?"
Anna rubbed her forehead and scoffed, "Your fault."
Taehyung chuckled and pulled the curtains apart, letting the sunlight pour into the cottage.
"Oh, my God! This fireplace is so cool!" Anna exclaimed and made a beeline to the small fireplace on one wall, "Do you ever use it?"
"Not really. It's been a while since I've been here." Taehyung sighed and plopped himself on one of the couches, "Sit."
He patted the empty spot beside him.
Anna walked to the couch and took a seat beside him, "It's a cute place."
"I know." Taehyung sighed and looked up at the wooden ceiling, letting memories of Armelle and him flood his head. The time when everything was good.
"I don't understand why you brought me here though." Anna tilted her body to face Taehyung.
"I usually come here when I feel down. I felt like you needed it too, so I brought you here." Taehyung looked at her and smiled gently, his fingers tucking her hair behind her ear like it had its own mind.
