Sophie's POV (a week later)

I got my stitches out and the scar is fading away with the cream. I'm also really nervous for today because its my first tryout. I'm trying for volleyball first. I quickly dress and run downstairs. We drive to school and when its over I run to the gym.

"Trying out?" The coach says and I nod. I warm up like Cam taught me and we start to play.

I didn't make it. Let's just say Im going to be bruised and blistered. I got a ride home and opened the door. Cam stood up from the couch and came up to me.

"No." I frowned knowing he was wondering if I made it. He hugged me.

"Don't worry, tomorrow is the dance team." He smiled.

The Next Day at tryouts

"Okay girls, 5, 6, 7, 8!" The instructor yelled. I did all the moves the best I could. I spun around and bumped into the girl next to me and our whole line fell.

"ALL OF THAT LINE IS OUT!" The instructor yelled. I sighed getting up.

"Thanks a lot." One girl shoved me and stormed out. When I got home it was like Déjà Vu.

Later

It's been a week and I've tried every thing I could join. Today is the last hope I have. Cheer. I probably won't make it because its cheer, hello!

Cameron's POV

I felt bad for Sophie so I decided to help her make the team. I walked up to the Cheer Captain, Clair. She's the most popular girl and school so she did date me once.. I broke up with her because all she wanted was to kiss. I go up to her clique.

"Oh hey Cammy!" She squealed in that annoying tone.

"Yea Clair, I need a favor." I say.

"Anything for you." She bites her lip. Ew.

"Can you help Sophie make the cheer team. Please." I say.

"Hmm okay." She says. "Whats in it for me?"

"I'll do something just promise." I roll my eyes.

"Kk!" She squeaks again and turns sashaying down the hall.

I was sitting on the couch waiting for Sophie to get home. I hear the door open and run to her. She looks sad. I swear Clair's going to get it.

"I MADE IT!" She screams jumping into my arms.

"REALLY?!?" I smile.

"Yea! I can't believe it!" She squealed, a lot cuter than Clair.

Sophie's POV (next day)

I'm a cheerleader. What? I still don't believe it. I made my way to the field where Cam and Nash are trying out for football. I know they both made it because Uncle Chad is the coach. I sit a few rows up on the bleachers and plop my stuff down. I spot Cam and Nash running and I wave at them.

There are a few other people in the bleachers but I wanted to sit alone. I hear footsteps and see Hayes coming over.

"Hey Hayes." I say and he sits down next to me.

"Hey Cuz." He smirks. "Just watching?"

"Yup. Aren't you trying out?" I ask.

"Middle School try outs were yesterday." He said.

"Did you make it?" I ask already knowing the answer.

"Of course." He laughed.

After the tryouts a sweaty Cam and Nash ran over to us with their arms out.

"Noo! No hugs!" We screamed running away but they grabbed us.

"Eww!" Hayes whined.

"You guys smell so bad." I laugh plugging my nose.

"I know." Nash laughs.

"Let's all wash up and go to a fancy restaurant." Cam suggests and we all agree.

When we got home, Cam went in the shower and I started to pick out my outfit. I settle on patterned skater dress, with a brown buckle, and a black petite coat since it was February. I bunched my hair into a bun and put on teal glitter case. I put on light make up and went downstairs slipping on black knee high boots. I waited for Cameron.

He came down in a suit and blue tie. He smiled when he saw me and kissed me.

"You look beautiful." He smiled in the kiss.

"You don't look to bad yourself." I laughed and we picked up Nash and Hayes.

"Where do you guys want to go?" Cam asked in the car.

"Umm, Carrabba's ?" Nash asked and we all agreed. We got a table and sat down.

It was really good. We then decided to just walk around and look at the shops.

"Hey are you wearing your charm bracelet?" Cam asks.

"Yea, I never take it off." I say and he pulls me into a store.

"Let's get a new charm." He says and we all look at the charms.

"Oh perfect!" Hayes comes up to us holding a charm with one Pom Pom and a football next to it.

"OMG!" I say and Cam pays for it and attaches it to the bracelet.

"Aww." Nash and Hayes say and I blush.

We head home and crawl into bed. I feel extra warm with Cam next to me...
