Adora x Reader x Catra Part 3

In the beginning, moving to Bright Moon had been totally weird. During your recovery, when you were stuck on bed rest, Adora was constantly coming to your room and checking on you. Honestly it felt nice to be around her again, even though you missed Catra now. Oh, how the roles were switched. But after having Adora vouch for you and going through everything with them. For example, the whole mole fiasco (where of course you were the main suspect, take about a tense day) and to Adora breaking her sword. And of course going on the rescue mission into SPACE to get Glimmer.

Flashback #3

The whole ship had recently received the coordinates where Catra was going to teleport Glimmer to. And seemingly Catra's goodbye message. Adora had just gone out to retrieve Glimmer from space and was in a group hug with Glimmer and Bow. While all of that was happening, you were standing in the front of the ship staring out a side window. You can hear them coming back to the front of the ship, giving out laughs of reliefs and thankfulness. You were glad they were happy, that Adora was happy, but you couldn't shake off what you had heard. Catra, god you hoped she was okay, was in Horde Prime's ship still. And that just did not sit well with you at all. You knew the rescue mission was just to get Glimmer but you couldn't let Catra be stuck in that ship. Especially after helping Glimmer escape. You knew Catra said Horde Prime knew She ra was coming and to stay away but you couldn't. As much as Catra had been an ass to everyone, you just blatantly couldn't live without her. At least knowing she was in the Fright Zone being a force captain and doing bad things was knowing that she was ok. But now... space, Horde Prime, it was just a whole different playing field.

You heard someone, presumably Adora, walk up slowly beside you. You took a quick glance just to make sure it was her, it was, before looking back out the window. She sighed slightly before putting her arm around your shoulders and pulling you into her slightly. You ducked your head down a little to lay your head on her shoulder and grabbed her hand from the arm that was across your shoulders. You close your eyes slightly, now trying to hold back any tears that might appear. "We.. I.. can't" you stuttered out. Adora squeezed your hand some. "We can't leave her there... I can't leave her there. Not with this Horde Prime guy. I know she hasn't been the best person but I really can't just..." Adora stopped your rambling by turning you to face her. "We're not going to leave her there. We're going to get Catra back. I promise." Adora said firmly before gaining a smile when you lit up at her words. You hugged her tightly, practically slamming your face into her shoulder. "I promise." She whispered once more before releasing from the hug and giving you a lopsided grin. "But first Entrapta said we need a new crystal for the ship."

*time skip*

The plan was simple. Adora distracts Horde Prime, Bow and Entrapta go digging for any weaknesses Prime may have, and you and Glimmer go get Catra. But of course, for some reason, plans for the princesses never go to plan. It turned from being a simple little stealth mission to running for your life to Darcy that Entrapta made crash through a ceiling. You were waiting at the door of the ship for Adora, hoping she had found Catra because the prison cells were empty. When suddenly she slams through a wall in a new form of She Ra carrying a limp Catra. You quickly run up to Adora and take Catra from her before running back into the ship, so she can finish the horde that was right on y'all's tails. When you finally take off and start heading back home you notice how limp Catra really is and how shallow her breathing is. It makes you tear up. You look up, "You can help her right? You can heal her?" You say practically begging Adora. She gives you a small sad smile before saying, "I promised to bring her home." She then gets on her knees in front of you, making Catra lay between you, with you still holding her against your chest. Adora then gives you a kiss on your forehead before putting her forehead against Catras. "I'm taking you both home." She says as she as Catra start glowing. She stops glowing after a few seconds and leans back a little. You watch Catra as she opens her eyes slowly. You let out a laugh of relief and kept a smile on your face, even though you still had a few stray tears going down your face. She looks between you and Adora slowly before wrapping her arms around both yours and Adoras neck and pulls you into a hugz You stuff your face into the crook of her neck and let out another breath of relief.
