CHAPTER 59

Empty.

Cold.

Heavy.

Numb.

Alone.

Angry.

Left, right, left, right, right.

Furious.

Right, left, left, right, left, left, right, left, right, right.

Fucking. Wrathful.

Right, left, left, right.

It has been one month.

One month since he took her away from me.

One month since my life changed. For the fucking worse.

He... Santana... was now my most hated enemy.

When I'm left with all my thoughts to consume me.

It should have been me.

I should have died.

Not her.

I was in the driver's seat after all.

It should have been me.

That grave should not have read:

Katrina Corazon

It should NOT have read her name.

It shouldn't have...

Mia's POV

I sat on the floor of the ring and took in a couple deep breaths.

I waited. And waited.

And soon enough, I felt the loud vibrations of the steps of someone coming towards me.

I stood and automatically felt the difference in height.

In front of me stood someone I had never seen in my life.

But I didn't care. It never mattered.

I heard the ding, and as it rung in my ears the tall body in front of me rushed forward. I swiftly moved to one side, lifting my leg slightly, grabbing her shoulder, and jumping on her back. I pushed all my weight into the crook of her neck and she fell to the floor, off balanced.
