"Your present is upstairs," Fred elbowed me from beside the table. We had spent the entire morning exchanging presents, talking about our school year, and prepared even more food for tonight's feast of a dinner if that was even possible.

It was about 8:00pm and we had just finished eating again. My dad and Ruby had left halfway through the day since he promised her they could go visit Thomas' family for a bit.

I also mentioned to her that she should be careful around the castle with Draco and Pansy. She knew better than to question me and ask why but if somehow Pansy was after me what would stop them from going after Ruby?

"Okay," I giggled and took his outstretched hand. All of my friends winked in my direction as if they knew something I didn't which made me look back at them puzzled. I dropped my presents off in my own room, taking off the earrings Tara gave me, and followed Fred.

"I'm scared. Is there going to be a confetti cannon inside?" I teased and he just chuckled.

He gestured for me to open the door to his bedroom and I gave him a confused look but did as he said.

"What's this?" I stared wide eyed at the room in front of me.

Candles were all over the floor, lit in circular motions around the room. The usual four beds in the room had been moved, and only one of them sat in the center, engorged in size. It had rose petals littered all over the top and a bag with a bow on it. I could see Fred watching me from the corner of my eye, but I was entranced by the beauty of the room.

I ran forward and opened the present, the bag on the bed contained every single candy I could ever ask for, both from the wizarding and muggle world. A teddy bear sat beside it and I laughed at the way it looked; a light orange color with a bowtie on the front. I assumed the bear was the color it was to resemble Fred the most.

"Did you do this all...for me," I stammered and I could feel my emotions get the best of me. Fred had never failed to show me how much he cared for me with things like this. I knew the way he showed his affections wasn't through touch or words, but by physical acts which always blew me away.

"Of course I did," he said softly, "I wanted to make this Christmas special for us."

"It's always special though—"

"No I meant this year," he interrupted, "you and I both know that next year will be unpredictable with everything the world is facing. If this was the last happy Christmas we got to celebrate, I wanted to make it memorable." I stared back at his face and just took in everything about him. I was entranced by Fred ever since I met him, there was always something unique about him that you could spot in the middle of a crowd. Today only affirmed how wonderful of a boy—no man that he was.

"I truly don't deserve you," I spoke down to him earnestly while he sat at the edge of the bed. He had his hands rested loosely on my waist and gave me a grin.

"I think the same thing about you everyday," he teased.

"Okay cheesy Weasley," I rolled my eyes and laughed at him. Everything in the room right now was perfect. We were both riding off the high of enjoyment from the dinner of tonight, and now engulfed with this lovely scene.

"I have a present for you too but it's going to look really stupid compared to yours," I tucked my hair behind my ear.

"I'll like anything from you Vi," Fred winked and tried to pull me closer to his chest.
