The next three weeks went by with little to no excitement. Fred stayed with me at Bill and Fleur's house while George returned back to their own safe house they had been saying at. Before he left though he introduced me to a radio station called Potterwatch, which they co created with Lee, and would often times tell the news how it was, not the spun up Prophet version.

I had gone three weeks with no word from Harry, Hermione, or Ron. Three weeks without them being sighted anywhere.

To say I was antsy was an understatement. Each day I nervously came down the stairs, wondering if I would ever see them again, and if they had managed to destroy the Horcrux.

I itched to help and contribute something but I couldn't. This safe house was only visible to those who knew the address, which made all us quite frankly alone.

More than ever I wished I had kept the bag of Dumbledore's will with me so I could crack the code of my notepad. There was no way that Dumbledore gave me that book for fun, he knew exactly what I was translating and why, which is why it was so important that I got it back.

Of course I was grateful for the extra time with Fred, but both of us were on edge most of the time. He had a lot of responsibility as an Order member and creator of Potterwatch, which meant the only time we were really together was late at night when we were both mentally exhausted.

I was currently sitting in the living room with Fleur, grateful for her itch to talk to someone else since it kept me preoccupied most of the day.

"—I think she always knew, but that's vwhen my sister vwanted to be a healer," Fleur explained as I nodded my head absentmindedly. She was talking about her family back home while I was perched up against the couch as usual just half listening.

My brain somehow couldn't force itself to place all my attention on her. Not when there was so much more to figure out. So many more things I needed to do.

"—do you feel ze same about being an Auror?" Fleur questioned

"What?" I turned my head fully towards her not hearing what she had asked me.

"Bill told me you vwant to be an Auror," Fleur repeated.

I looked back at the ground and titled my head, not having thought of the future much past the ending of the war, "yeah. Yeah I do. I guess I haven't really been focusing on it since my first goal is to make it through the war."

"Yes but there is life after ze war," Fleur smiled kindly at me, "don't forget to have dreams past zis period of time."

"I do have dreams," I tried to defend, "like uh going back to school to take my NEWTS—"

"No Violet," Fleur shook her head, "real dreams. Zat involve your life years from now."

I stopped for a couple seconds really thinking about it. I had never really dreamt of my life in the future. I just took each day as it came and was set on becoming an Auror because that's what I thought would avenge my mom the most.

"Well," I started reluctantly, "I would like to have a cottage with my sister. We would both own it together, maybe have Fred move in if he would like to. But I want it somewhere in a neighborhood where the streets are busy and noise is constant."

"Vwhy is dat?" She encouraged.

I shook my head, "I don't know. I guess spending so many summers isolated from everyone and having to grow up with just my dad and my sister made me realize I like being surrounded by people. I want to feel the lives of everyone happen around me."

"Dats vwonderful," her eyes glittered at me, "I did ze same with Bill. We both vwanted to start a family on ze hills. In a place that could be just ours."
