Explosive Angel ( Bakugou x Reader )

Sports Festival: Race

Quite a large time skip but I don't want to write everything that happened in between.

    The UA Sports Festival. I have been looking forward to today since Aizawa told us that it was still on. I have been practicing new moves with certain quirks and switching through quirks with Aizawa's supervision. It gave me something to do at his place and I could easily get tips. Now it's time to see if all of this was worth it.

    The first part is a race mixed with an obstacle course. Judging by what I heard Todoroki say in the waiting room I know he will try and stop as many people as possible at the start so time to use a quirk that will get me in the air. How about this one.

    Once the match started I use an air quirk that lets me move throw the air as long as I can keep my breathing steady. I easily avoid Todoroki's ice and I notice that several others have as well. He's not that fazed by it and continues on to the next part of the race.

     Its those giant robots from the entrance exams. Once again he uses his ice to freeze them. He does so in a way that makes them fall after he passed trapping two people under. I can't worry about them right now though. I have to catch up. Bakugou has already passed the robots as well. Taking a deep breath I propelled myself over the robots and speed myself forward by changing to Bakugou's explosive power.

    " Hey don't use my power in this race or I won't stand out at all." He shouts at me when he noticed me pass him with it.

    " Sorry. Any power I have is fair game." I say as I land in front of him. I find that speed quirk that I used during our race and change to it. I here Mic introduce our next part. The fall. So basically a tightrope. If I use a mix of the air quirk and Bakugou's I can get past this easily.

     " Class A's l/n seems to be getting by quite easily with this task. What else can you expect from a girl with a quirk like hers though? " His commentary on me is going to make me loose focus if I'm not careful. The only downside with this quirk is if I stop using it for even a second after continuous use I get really tired so I can't loose focus.

    I pass by Todoroki right before we reach the next task. A minefield. I almost forgot to use a quirk but I remembered and chose a cat like quirk that I have. This gives me extra support during task like this. Since cats are light on their feet I can get through with ease. Plus I have that extra boost in sight that lets me see a little further ahead so I can plan my next step.

    Just as I thought I might make it both Bakugou and Todoroki show up. Bakugou starts scolding me about using his quirk and Todoroki just looks even more determined to get ahead but he has to watch his footing.

    A large explosion causes all of us to look behind. What we see is Midoriya flying on a large piece of metal that he must have been carrying from the start. After quick calculations I figure that he is going to land in front of us but on more mines. Shit.

    I grab Bakugou's arm and pull him forward which states him. He pulls back and claims he doesn't need my help.

    " Any second now he is going to blast us with more mines. Do you want to win or not?" He nods and tells me to hold on tight while pulling me in by the hip. He does a standing jump and propelled us forward by using one arm. It's a little unsteady so I put one of my arms back and use his quirk to regulate our momentum.

    " WOAH. IT LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE TEAMWORK BETWEEN BAKUGOU AND L/N SAVED THEM FROM FALLING BEHIND. IF THEY HESITATED A MOMENT LONGER THEY WOULD HAVE ENDED UP BEHIND MIDORIYA." Mic shouted his commentary. We both zoom passed the finish line with Midoriya right behind us.

    " It looks like there is a tie for first place." Lady Midnight announced causing the crowd to cheer.

    " Why did you trust me in the minefield?" I ask Bakugou when the attention moves to the rest of the people entering the stadium.

    " I may be the best in english but when it comes to calculating stuff you and Deku top." He says flatly. Way to ruin a mood.
