Explosive Angel ( Bakugou x Reader )

Sports Festival:Battle Tournament

    A battle tournament with me going up against guy with a very repetitive name. Seriously who names their kid Testutetsu Testutetsu? That's just cruel and annoying. From what Kirishima told me this guy has a similar quirk as him. This should be fun.

    My match isn't until after Iida's so I get the opportunity of watching four matches. I wonder how they will all go? Maybe I will gain a new quirk or two?

Time Skip brought by knowledge

    Well those where interesting matches. Poor Iida was made into an advertisement by that girl with a binocular type quirk.

    Now it's my turn to go against Kirishima's double. To be honest I'm a little worried. If I beat him there is a good chance that I will go against Bakugou in the next round.

    "Let the match begin." Midnight exclaimed loudly. Tt, what I am calling him for time purposes, can charging at me. I dodged and used a blast of water to knock him down. Then I used Tsuyu's frog quirk to pick him up with my tongue and throw him out of bounds.

    " L/n wins again."

    " Hm, that wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. When Kirishima told me you were a lot like him I expected more of a fight." I helped the poor guy up.

    " With your quirk it's not that easy to come up with a strategy. Honestly, how do you deal with all of those quirks?"

    " My body adapts to whichever quirk I am using at the time. I mainly use emitter quirks though so it takes a lot of focus."

    " That's so cool. Like you have the whole bank of quirks at your disposal. Your opponent won't know what's going to happen next."

    " That's what I'm hoping for in the next round since I'm most likely going against Bakugou. I may crack out one of my new moves." Tt wishes me luck on my next match and runs off to find his friends. He seems like a decent guy. At least he wasn't too upset about the loss.

    During Bakugou's match Ochaco was bouncing everywhere. I knew what she was doing of course since honestly I was thinking of doing something like that. Some people in the crowd though thought it was harsh to go at a girl like he was though. They got scolded by Aizawa which made me laugh. It reminded me of when he scolded me for trying dangerous moves during my practice sessions with him.

    Bakugou inevitably won the match causing me to once again get nervous. This time I know the match will be rough. I've beat him before but that was with Midoriya also on his mind. This time it will be nothing but beating me that's on his mind and that's a scary thought. But this time he has just his usual power and no special costume boost.

    " How can you be sitting there with a smile on your face while knowing you have to face that next?" Kaminari asked.

    " I don't know. Even though it's terrifying it's also exciting. You remember the Battle Trial we had? I have already beat him once. All I have to do is beat him again. And this time he doesn't have gauntlets." I say.

    " I don't know. He looks stronger." That's cause he is. He has been training extra hard this week and I know he had already upped his training after the punching bag incident.

    " Speak of the devil." Kirishima made Bakugou's presence known.

    The guys started berating him for attacking a girl like that. They were saying that it was not cool and unmanly. They even said that attacking a fragile girl like that is more villainous.

    " What part of her is fragile?" He snapped at them after sitting down in front of me. They looked away ashamed that they had basically degraded one of their own classmates.

    I noticed how he held his shoulder and absentmindedly started to rub it. He overused his quirk again. Since this is a common occurrence between us in hero training it didn't occur to me that I was actually helping the 'enemy'. After he let out a relieved sigh the attention was back on me and him.

    " Why are you helping the person you are about to fight?" Mina looked completely confused. Even Bakugou wore a confused look. That was until I stopped rubbing the shoulder out of my own confusion.

    " I didn't even realize that I was doing that. My first thought was he overused his quirk and needs help. I guess the helping part of heroism is engrained in my mind." I gave a nervous chuckle.

    " Who said you should stop. Don't you want the satisfaction of beating me at my best?" He gave me that stupid grin that he wears when challenging me.

    " I do but I also don't want you to potentially kill me during the match."

    " I don't think I would even be able to get close to killing you. I would be killed in return."

    " Who would kill you for injuring her that bad? I mean you injured Ururaka pretty bad and no one is trying to kill you." Denki pointed out what I'm sure everyone was thinking.

    " Oh yeah they don't know. I forget that sometimes."

    " If I continue to rub your shoulder will you shut up?" I snapped at him before he said anything else.

    " Yep." I continued to rub his shoulder while everyone beside us started making theories as to what he meant. Stupid hedgehog has a hold on me and I don't like it.
