Quest goes on and Fiery battle

The seven heroes are have travel for several months now to the front lines of the battles between the people and the monsters. They have already slain a general that was disguised as a high judge courting hearings for high ranking soldiers and such and allowing corruption to grow. They were given a tip about the high judge by a wanderer they were sent to capture by said judge and were even gifted a powerful weapon by him after he made them question the high judge. He then vanished from right in front of them and they started to invest age the High judge and eventually discovered he was a monster and slain him and saved the city from its wraith. 

They now journeyed to the front lines to aide in slaying another general said to be leading a successful battle slowly over taking many units almost flawlessly. They reach the fort said to house a unit from the federation and lead by General Hernaluo the wife to the current grand Marshall and Hanlio's aunt. She sent them a letter to ask for aide and that she has a prisoner claiming to know the group of heroes. When they enter the fort they see many injured and depressed soldiers hanging around as all their medics and healers rushing around and seeming tired. They are then escorted to the Generals quarters and meet the general as she stands with an eye patch and looks at the heroes.

Hanlio looks at her aunt and sees the wounds all over her face and rushes to her and starts to cast healing meiotic on her but is told it will be of no use on her since it happened a month ago. Hanlio looks at her aunt and apologizes to her for not knowing but is told its not her fault as she starts to get back to business. She then says that she hears story about them from bards and letters sent about their deeds and noble quest from the gods. She then looks at the guards in the room and asks them to leave as they do cautiously, after they left she looks at the heroes and bows her head and asks for their help in this upcoming battle. 

Hanlio looks at her aunt and makes a surprised face knowing that when a Walker bows it head they are putting their pride aside for the good of others. Arti looks at her and walks up to the general and puts his hands on her soldiers and makes her raise her head and looks into her eyes and say they will do what they can. She turns her head away trying to hold in her tears at his resolute tone and says thank you. The Royford mentions in her letter that they have a prisoner claiming to know them and make the suggestion of requesting them. The General shakes her head and affirms they do and then calls in a person to lead them to the cells to show them the prisoner.

When they arrive at the cells they are greeted by a tired and annoyed guard who is holding his entire face and seems to be questioning his choices in life. When he notices the group sighs and says the prisoner in in the last cell and then leads the way for the group now. When they arrive at the cell they see a familiar looking being batting a sandwich reading a book on the bed, seeing this the guard enrages at the sight of the beings actions.

Guard ( HOW DID YOU GET A BOOK IN THEIR, WAIT A MINUTE WHAT ARE YOU EATING IS THAT MY LUNCH JUST HOW DID YOU GET IT. UGGGGHHHH  HOW ARE YOU DOING THESE THINGS I TAKE ONE BOOK AWAY YOU JUST HAVE ANOTHER. IF IT WASN'T FOR THE GENERALS ORDERS I WOULD HAVE HANGED YOU RIGHT AWAY. UGH ANYWAY YOU HAVE VISITORS.)

The figure turns away from the book and shallows his food and then cracks into a big smile and then speaks,

Zola ( Why hello their friends it has been a while huh it seems you got the letter I ask to be sent to you guys. Heard you guys killed the general hiding in the city of justice and even slain several monster hordes near the north huh. Anyway this place has good sandwiches and grub so how have you all been is the shield working well?)

Flina ( YOU! WHERE DID YOU GO AFTER WE MEET IN THE CITY OF JUSTICE? HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THE HIGH JUDGE?!!)

Hanlio ( WHERE DID YOU GET THE SHEILD ROY  WEILDS AND HOW DID YOU KNOW WE WOULD BE ABLE TO SLAY THE MONSTER GENERAL.)
