"Let me see what you've got there" Blaise said just as I ran past him with a knife in my hand

"A knife!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Why?!" He shouted as he ran after me and I waved my arm around grinning as I ran from the kitchens, racing up steps

"Why not?!"

"Amelia stop running!"

"No! You'll take my knife away!"

"Of course I bloody will!"

"But I need to find Lockhart!"

"Why?!"

"So I can slice his throat open!"

"I'm sorry, what?" He asked laughing as I stopped running and turned around to him from where he stood a couple of feet away from me

"Oh come on, Valentine's Day, the hall was a disgrace. I also had to deal with getting numerous cards. He deserves to pay"

"So you're going to make him pay by cutting his throat open?"

"Yeah! Or some other part of him" I said to him grinning as he stared at me, a small smile forming on his face

"Do you blame me?"

"Am I getting roped into this?"

"Damn right you are, you seen the knife so now you know"

"That's kind of threatening-"

"Oops-"

"I'll let you do the killing"

"Nobody said anything about killing anybody but I will if you really want me to-"

"No!"

"Too late- you're going to be an accessory to murder"

"I'm not going to Azkaban"

"Please Blaise, if I go to Azkaban you're going with me" I scoffed before starting to laugh as he shook his head at me and I walked down the corridors, swinging it around as he caught up to my side and took a step away

"I know what I'm doing Blaise-"

"I don't think you do-"

"Ow"

"I'm being honest-"

"I'll tell you what I plan on doing if that'll comfort you-"

"No!"

"I'm going to severe his cerebrum-"

"His what?"

"It's a part of the brain-"

"Your sister...."

"What? Oh, hello Holly. As you can see, I'm armed. I could easily kill you if I wanted to"

"And not humiliate me first? Oh, that isn't your style at all" she scoffed as I grinned at her and flicked the knife as her smile dropped and she motioned to the empty corridor behind her

"I- I'm just- I'm gonna go- this way-"

"Yeah. Good idea" I told her with a smile as we watched her vanish instantly and I turned to Blaise with a jump of glee

"Oh! I can't wait to run at Lockhart with this!-"

"Miss Black!" Letting out a shout of surprise we both whipped around and stared at McGonagall as the knife slipped from my hand and clattered on the ground as her eyes followed it and I quickly picked it up, pressing it into Blaise's hands as he gaped at me and chucked it at me as I caught it

"You threw a knife at me?!"

"You passed it to me!"

"Aye, but, you didnae need tae throw the blimin thing!"

"I-"

"Miss Black, why do you and Mr Zabini feel the need to walk the corridors with a knife?"

"It's not a knife!"

"It's a knife!"

"It's a wand!"

"Very well then Miss Black, what spells can it cast?"

"...stab?" I asked quietly after a moment as I pulled a face and looked at her, flashing her a smile as she kept her unamused look on her face and my eyes slowly widened

"Detention Miss Black"

"I should've seen this coming"

"You should've" Blaise mumbled quietly as McGonagall turned to look at him

"You too Mr Zabini-"

"But I-!"

"No! Now back to your common room, now" she told us as we nodded and disappeared past her as I sent a wary look to Blaise who was staring at me as I took off at a run, speeding down to the common room as I snapped my dorm door shut behind me as I stared at Pansy and Millicent who had looked up at me

"I'm not too good at push-ups or sit-ups... But fuck-ups? Let me tell ya"

"Oh wow, that's relatable"

"Wow. You two are depressing"

"You've just realised?"

"Of course not- Wait, what happened?"

"Blaise wants to kill me"

"Ah, finally-"

"Wow, thanks Pansy"
