"Amelia!"

"Fuck off"

"I- what?"

"I'm telling you to fuck off, Oscar. Not you Tristan. You can stay" I mumbled as I turned my head, both walking across the stones towards where I was as I wrapped my cloak around me tighter while they sat down either side of me, Tristan dropping his head onto my shoulder as a smile grew on my face and I turned to Oscar

"So what do you want? We've been here since September, it's now over half way through January, yet, before we got on the train you told me that you needed to talk to me but you kind of just forgot about that" I reminded him as he stared back at me, humming slightly as I rolled my eyes, resting my head against Tristan's as he laughed slightly

"I can't even remember what I was going to talk to you about"

"Do you remember anything? Like, ever?"

"Nope"

"No surprise there then-"

"I'm cold"

"Well we are sitting in the snow Tristan"

"Here, have my cloak. Is there anything else you want or need?"

"I'm cold too"

"I can set you on fire if you want?" I offered to Oscar as I turned my head to him, wrapping my cloak around Tristan as he grinned at me and Oscar stared at me, glancing between the two of us

"Why don't you like me?"

"Why do you ask such stupid questions that you don't want to know the answer to?"

"Why does mum act like she hates you?"

"What you mean 'act'? She does hate me-" I scoffed, rolling my eyes as I kicked the snow about at my feet and he shook his head frantically

"No she doesn't!"

"Prove me wrong. Tell me one time she has been remotely kind to me within the last year" I said to him, turning and staring at him as he shut his mouth, his eyes drifting to the lake as he sat there quietly for a few moments

"Exactly"

"Even if your mother doesn't love you, I do. And Cedric does too, but I love you more-"

"Thank you Tristan"

"Don't let Cedric hear you say that"

"Say what? That I love Amelia more than him?"

"That exactly. He'll prove you wrong, even go mental probably"

"Doubt it"

"Why?"

"Because Cedric loves me-"

"No, he loves me" I told Tristan as the three of us let out a laugh. A little while passing I looked past Oscar and down at the edge of the lake, three shadows walking along, nearing where we were as I grabbed both of them by the back of their collars and hauled them to their feet before dragging them into a small section covered with bushes and trees

"What's happening?"

"Shut up, you're so damn loud"

"Well tell us what's happening-"

"Is that Nadia?" I asked ludicrously as I stared at the three, trying to tell if it was Irish robes or not as I kept shifting about ever so slightly

"It fucking is!"

"I thought she was meant to be training?"

"They're supposed to be. I thought they were to be in Abu Dhabi?"

"That's what I thought too. Unless they leave tomorrow...." I mumbled as I watched her walk into view, hands a vibrant blue colour as she stormed about, kicking stones and snow about the place as I looked to the two keeping their distance behind her, Adam and Jayden swapping looks as I kept my eyes on her

"I couldn't control it-"

"Again, you still shouldn't have of lashed out like that-"

"Again, I couldn't control it-"

"You still lashed out though"

"Oh so fucking what? Maybe I did lash out! Who cares?"

"I do"

"Nathan had glass in the back of his head-"

"I didn't m-"

"Glass, Nadia. Glass"

"I didn't fucking mean to-"

"Are you sure? Because it seemed like you fucking did-"

"I fucking didn't-"

"You fucking did- don't fucking point your wand at me" Jayden told her, Nadia having drawn her wand with it pointed at his chest as I reached for mine, pointing it at her out of sight as I kept my eyes glued to her

"You over reacted at the fact Nathan offered Amelia a contract"

"Why is it always you that's spoken about?"

"Because I'm either a bitch or a national treasure" I murmured to Tristan as I wiped my eyes slightly, pulling Oscar away from the bushes after he had tried to look around, making too much noise as I shook my head

"I didn't over react-"

"You did!"

"It was the fact he hadn't discussed it with anyone!"

"He discussed it with us-"

"Oh of course I wasn't included in the conversation! It's not like I'm her mother or anything-"

"You might be her mother but you don't treat her like your daughter-"

"Don't tell me how to treat my family when you don't have one of your own Adam-"

"Don't you fucking dare say that!"

"If you won't look after Amelia then I fucking will. She is my family at the end of the day-"

"You don't understand!"

"What don't I understand?!"

"Some of my closest friends were killed by Slytherins! They've been abused and tormented by them- How am I to know that Amelia won't be like them? How am I to know she won't go after her siblings? I don't even know who she is or whether I can fucking trust her!"

"Wow...." I mumbled quietly, blinking as I shook Oscar off after he had grabbed my wrist as I shook my head and sat down properly, leaning against the trunk of a tree as I rubbed at the side of my head
