"But I don't understand-"

"What the hell have we even done?"

"We haven't done anything-"

"So then what did the parchment say?"

"It didn't say anything other than we were to-"

"But it must've said something"

"Like why we had to leave so suddenly, just after having started-"

"Look! If I knew the reason as to why we had to head back, I would've told you. But I don't so I can't" Flint told us all after stopping in his tracks as he turned and looked between us all as we stopped talking as he continued to stare at us as he turned around and started walking again and we followed as I dropped back from where I was walking beside him as I walked between Miles and Adrian who were at the back

"So what did it say?"

"I don't know"

"You didn't read it?"

"Didn't get a chance to"

"How not?"

"Because he read it and then stuffed it away in his pocket"

"Did you get a glance at it?"

"No. I seen it flying straight towards me though, nothing else-"

"All of you back to the common room now!" Looking up I hadn't even realised that we were walking through the corridors as we all looked at Snape who was staring at us all individually as we all started walking past him. Feeling a hand on my shoulder I was stopped in my tracks as I turned and looked at Snape as he continued to look at Adrian and Miles who had stopped too while they were told to go to the common room as I was walked away and towards the nearest set of staircases as a familiar feeling of dread swept over me

"Where are we going?"

"To the hospital wing"

"But why?"

"You'll find out soon" getting walked down the corridor silently I looked about, nobody else around anywhere at all as we finally made it to the corridor that led to the hospital wing, once inside, did I only then feel his hand leave my shoulder as I looked about. Watching Nathan walk towards me I shook my head furiously as Snape walked off to the other side of the wing and I was pulled into a hug

"No, no, no, no, no-"

"Amelia-"

"No-"

"Amelia, please-"

"Don't you dare tell me it's Oscar. Not Oscar. Don't tell me that it's Oscar lying in here"

"He was just outside the charms classroom, he-"

"But-"

"Don't start blaming yourself Lia-"

"I shouldn't have of gone to practice-"

"It wasn't your fault. Don't think that-"

"But I'm meant to look after them. I shouldn't have of gone-"

"Amelia-"

"I should've stayed in the castle and looked for him. I should've made sure he was alright, I should've-"

"Amelia, you didn't know it was going to happen. Nobody did" he mumbled quietly as I continued shaking my head as he stepped back, holding the hospital wing door open for me as I was walked out.
