"Your mother works here now?!"
"Apparently so. Only got told this morning" I hummed as we walked into the common room, the feast having ended
"It's still pretty cool though, right?"
"I suppose. But now I have to put up with two Gryffindors and another Hufflepuff" I laughed, Oscar having been sorted in Hufflepuff as I shook my head amused, knowing that's where he'd be sorted. Feeling something run into me, I stumbled slightly before looking down, staring at the small boy who looked at me with a grin
"We're almost the same height!"
"I'm sorry.... who the fuck are you?"
"Josiah get away from her!" Looking up I raised my eyebrows as I stared at Adrian who was walking over as he pushed him away
"Go and find your dorm and go to sleep. Or go and look for Toby. Just.... just please go away and leave Amelia alone" he sighed before shoving him away and looking at me
"I'm sorry"
"Who was that?"
"My brother-"
"You have a brother?!"
"Yes, Miles does too. Toby is his brother"
"Seriously?!" I asked laughing as he looked at me amused, nodding before motioning Miles over
"What do you want, bastard?"
"Where's Toby?"
"Probably passed out on his bed, comatose" he shrugged as I let out a laugh, looking between them with a grin
"I still can't believe you two are older brothers"
"Is it that difficult to believe?"
"Yeah actually- alright, Flint?" I asked after he had wandered over, a grin growing as he pointed to the captains badge
"Why do you show it off like it's a brag? We knew it'd be you"
"I just thought I'd remind you all. We need a new seeker"
"True, true"
"Unfortunately"
"Do your brothers play?" I asked Adrian and Miles as they both nodded and I grinned again
"Toby's a beater"
"Josiah prefers keeper" Adrian told me as I pulled a face, nodding surprised as the four of us let out a laugh. Walking back to the couch a little later I dumped myself down next to Blaise as I grinned at him
"Alright?"
"Yeah, yeah I'm good thanks. You-? Oh- well... okay" I mumbled after he had dropped his head onto my shoulder as he looked up at me and I smiled at him
"Did I say this was okay?"
"No"
"....so you still do it?"
"Of course"
"I love the nerve you have. Amazing" I told him with a grin as he let out a laugh and I rested my head on top of his with a smile
"Your hair has grown a lot"
"I know it has, it's annoying"
"I like it"
"I don't"
"I can tell-"
"Good-"
"Can I braid it?" I asked quickly, grinning as he let out a scoff and I started laughing
"Absolutely not"
