"So we're both single... then you know what that means?" I asked quietly as the two of us stared at the magpie eggs that were surrounded by heat lamps as I turned my head and rested it against my arms as I looked at Pansy while she done the same

"Yeah... we're both ugly"

"... wow..."

"What?"

"That was so brutally true" I muttered back quietly as we looked at each other and grins broke out on our faces

"You're insulting me"

"I'm insulting us both"

"Ouch. How am I not used to this?" Pansy asked quietly as we stood up and I put the charm back over the eggs again as we left the quarters and I looked at her with a smile

"Good question- how aren't you?"

"Oh, I don't know"

"What do you know?"

"I don't know what I know"

"I'm not sure if that's the worst or best response you could give to that question" I said to her as the two of us shared a laugh and I watched somebody run past me before stopping directly in front of me as I looked at Toby

"Are you okay?"

"Miles and Adrian are looking for you"

"Why?"

"I think they said something about a last minute practice before tomorrow's game-"

"Shit! I have a quidditch match against Gryffindor tomorrow!" I said to Pansy wide eyed as she started laughing and nodded at me as I pulled a face, glancing back to Toby as I nodded and tried to give him a smile

"Well, thank you for telling me. I don't know if-"

"I was going to tell her!"

"I found her first-"

"So? She's my sister!"

"You were too slow Oscar. You didn't know where she was anyway-"

"You're meant to be on my side Tristan!" Oscar said while walking down the corridor towards the three of us quickly as I turned and raised my eyebrow at him before glancing to the boy behind him, also in Hufflepuff robes as he pushed his slightly wavy, short, dark blonde hair from his face and grinned at me with a wave as I offered a wave back

"I hate you Bletchley-"

"Watch your tongue Oscar-"

"But he's a Slytherin! I don't like Slytherins! They're evil and bigoted and selfish and manipulative-"

"And it's three against one right now. Not a fair fight on your behalf, and you know that I'll beat your rotten bones into the ground if you don't watch what you say" I seethed at him as I unconsciously clenched my fist while gritting my teeth as he glanced to the Slytherin scarf I wore and nodded

"Sorry Lia-"

"Don't call me Lia-"

"But your friends do-"

"Exactly. My friends" I said to him as Toby wandered off and me and Pansy waved to him before we turned to the two and I looked to Tristan who was standing directly beside me as he grabbed my hand and shook it

"Hi"

"Hey. How the hell do you put up with him?"

"I don't. I just block him out and ignore him. It's easier that way"

"Ah, wise choice. I feel like I'm more than likely going to be seeing a lot of you around at our house during the holidays"

"More than likely, yes. I'll just invite myself around"

"Classy-"

"Thank you. I try-"

"Oscar?"

"What?"

"I want Tristan as my brother. Not you. He's nicer"

"Fuck you Amelia"

"Fuck off you twat"

"Bruaton"

"Marki pestutu" I shot back at him as he glowered at me before turning around and storming off as I waved to Tristan as he followed after

"What's did you say?"

"I told him to get a grip-"

"So what are you thinking?"

"They two are so gay for each other" I told her quietly as I looked at their retreating figures and we shared a look and laughed before we turned and she walked me down to the pitch
