"You need to sleeeeep"

"No...."

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes you do, Amelia. Look at you. You're trying so hard to stay awake-"

"No I'm not"

"Yes you fucking are. It's quarter to three in the morning: go to sleep"

"But I can't-"

"How not?"

"Because I need to get my homework done"

"What homework is it?" Blaise asked quietly as he picked up one of the many textbooks I had propped open around me as I rubbed at my eyes, feeling as if somebody had rubbed salt into them

"It's muggle stuff-"

"You're still doing muggle work?"

"Yes, I need to-"

"No you don't-"

"I want to-"

"You also want to let your health deteriorate?"

"I'm asthmatic. I'm already dying" I mumbled, laughing at myself as he looked at me unamused before passing me my book back

"You know, Draco found the inhaler that I keep for you the other day"

"Did he?"

"He did"

"What happened?"

"I showed him how it worked"

"And?"

"He crapped himself" he told me as I started laughing, a grin taking over his face as I was pulled into a side hug as I fought to get back to my work

"Five minutes"

"But I-"

"Amelia, you need rest"

"I need to get my work done-"

"Please Lia. Five minutes. That's all"

"Five minutes" I agreed with a mumble as I rested my head against him, staring at the tiny and dying embers on the fireplace as my eyes dropped shut

Opening my eyes I looked around the common room, quilt draped across me as I lifted my head, Blaise asleep beside me as I squinted at the clock on the other side of the common room

"Five minutes my fucking arse, Zabini. It's been almost three hours"

"Oops"

"Blaise!"

"You fell asleep so I left you. You were needing to sleep and I wasn't going to wake you up so you could go back to your work"

"Thank you, but I need to look in the library" I told him quietly as I stood up and grabbed my history of magic work as I walked past him tiredly. Looking around the empty halls I muffled my yawn as I shut my eyes for a moment, forgetting to stop walking as my feet scuffed along the floor

"Amelia?"

"Hmm?"

"The staircase" I was warned as I started blinking, just able to see as I looked at where I was, standing at the foot of a staircase as I looked to the top of the steps as Lupin walked down towards me, trying to offer me a smile as he stopped in front of me

"You were sleep walking?"

"Yes- Wait.... no. No, I don't think I was- I wasn't No, I don't... I don't sleepwalk"

"Are you sure? Because it sure looked like that's what you were doing"

"I was just taking a really long blink" I told him tiredly before giving him an exhausted grin as I got a better grip of my books while I looked around confused

"Why did I even come down here?"

"I'm not sure, this isn't the way to the library"

"Yeah... yeah I know"

"Do you?" He asked with a laugh as I looked at him and nodded, scratching my head slightly as I glanced about again with a sigh

"I'm heading that way anyway. Do you mind?"

"No, feel free" I told him quietly as he smiled at me and I turned and started walking

"You're going the wrong way again, Amelia"

"I am" I muttered before turning around and walking over to him as he looked at me amused

"Are you managing the work I've been setting?"

"Oh, yeah. It's been fine, I've got it all done already"

"All of it? But I only gave it out yesterday"

"I know, but I like to get work out of the way so it doesn't start piling up. Although that hasn't exactly been working"

"You do look stressed"

"That's an understatement"

"Are you finding your classes to be too much?"

"No, it's not that. I'm coping fine and I'm enjoying them all... it's just.... McGonagall is talking to Sprout about changing my Herbology class and the work is just so overwhelming at the moment"

"I can have a word with them, if you'd like?"

"It's fine, thank you for the offer though"

"Well, we've made it to the library. I'll see you on Tuesday after classes" he smiled as I nodded and I waved to him before going in, walking into someone instantly as my books went flying and I looked up, Fred staring at me blankly for a few moments before walking past and away as I sighed quietly before crouching down as I tried to gather all of my pieces of parchment that had scattered themselves around

"No, it's fine, Fred. Don't feel the need to see if I wanted some help. I can manage myself, I usually do anyway-" feeling a kick to my lower chest I muffled my noise of pain and cradled my ribs in agony

"Oops. I guess I didn't see you"

"Fuck you. You fucking arsehole" I spat as I glanced up, looking at Davies who stood with an eyebrow raised, the two beaters of the Ravenclaw team behind him as I tried to push myself up, struggling as I was grabbed by the back of my jumper and dragged from the library, struggling to breathe as the fabric started to dig into my neck and I was hauled along the floor as I tried to kick at them
