"Thank god we were not playing last weeks game. I never thought I'd say it, but, I'm kind of glad you were slashed by that hippogriff" I mumbled thoughtfully as we stood in the entrance hall with cloaks on as Draco turned to me
"What?"
"Not only did it teach you a lesson. It got us out of playing that match" I told him as Pansy and Daphne started laughing quietly as I smirked at them before looking back to him as Blaise started walking down the corridor towards us
"Okay, yes, but I was attacked-"
"And that was your own fault" I reminded him with a laugh as he rolled his eyes as he turned and walked towards Blaise who was walking over, Theodore behind him as we smiled at each other and I turned to the other two
"When did your mother sign your permission slip?"
"Thankfully the first week of the holidays, before she decided to get annoyed at me-"
"I wasn't actually wanting to know about that. What I want to know is as to why you were taken from Lupin's class and not brought back!"
"We thought you'd been expelled!"
"Well, I haven't been-"
"Clearly!"
"Will you explain to us yet?!"
"No-"
"Amelia!"
"First the contract and now this!"
"What contract?"
"Pansy! Will you shut the fuck up?!" I asked loudly as she turned pink slightly before shrugging as I glanced around, catching sight of Lucas who was jogging down the hall as he motioned me over
"I'll be back in-"
"Why?"
"Where are you going?"
"I'll be back in a minute-"
"Amelia?" Walking away I went over to him as a smirk grew on his face and I offered a small wave as he stood opposite me
"Hi"
"Hey, well, happy Halloween for a start-"
"Likewise"
"I never knew you were going to be going to Hogsmeade today"
"Yeah, I promised the others that I'd go with them for the first visit"
"So it's lucky on my behalf that I didn't ask you to go with me then: I would've had to deal with the turndown" he laughed as I smiled at him, staring at the grin on his face before looking past him momentarily before looking back
"So who is it you're going with then?"
"Draco, Blaise, Pansy, Daphne and Theo-"
"Theo?"
"I meant Theodore" I corrected myself quickly as I felt my cheeks turn pink slightly and he started laughing as I shook my head amused
"Shut up"
"I've never seen so much colour on your face before"
"I take offence to that-"
"You shouldn't. Anyway, have you got plans for the next visit?"
"Not to my knowledge, no"
"So, you're not going with anyone?"
"No..."
"Will you go with me?"
"Is this a serious question?"
"Yes..." he told me quietly as he glanced away and I looked at him before turning down the corridor, Pansy and Daphne spinning around as I laughed to myself
"So?..."
"Yeah"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah" I nodded, laughing when a grin grew on his face as he done a sort of small spin
"Thank Merlin for that"
"I've never done- eh- answered anything... like that- I think it's obvious that I've- I'm sorry I'm rambling" I apologised as he started laughing and he nodded down the corridor as we started walking
"It's fine, don't apologise. Well, I suppose we'll turn separate ways, it won't look as suspicious. I'll see you later though"
"See you later" I said to him, smiling as he nodded with a smirk before disappearing into the crowd that was piling out of the entrance hall as I ran to catch up, shoving past Ron as he shouted after me and I ignored him, finding Pansy and Daphne a little way ahead as I squeezed through the other three
"Lia?"
"Later!" I told them as I grabbed their shoulders as they turned to look at me and I looked at them wide eyed, my face still red as Pansy's jaw dropped
"No...."
"Keep waking and I'll start talking. Act natural-"
"Oh my god!"
"I said act natural! Not squeal your guts up"

Diving into the Three Broomsticks I ran over to the bar as Rosmerta turned around and laughed, beckoning me around as I let out a shriek, running behind the bar as I crouched down and was instantly attacked
"Bailey, Bailey, Bailey!" I cooed as I was attacked with kisses as I picked him up, standing up properly as I kissed his head, hugging him tightly as his tail wagged furiously
"Oh my god I missed you" I murmured into his coat as I turned to the others who were leaning against the bar, just having ordered as I watched smiles grow on their faces before I turned back to her with a grin
"My husband loves him. And he's put on almost a kilo"
"And how's the dog doing?" I asked as she looked at me, the two of us starting to laugh loudly as she knocked my shoulder
"I'm joking"
"I set myself up for that one, he's missed you"
"I've missed him more. It's the highlight of my day"
"That's a lie, Lia-"
"It's the joint highlight of my day" I added on as I grinned at Pansy who sat beside Daphne and Draco, him staring confused at the amused looks on their faces
