"You look nice. Who dressed you, the Great Depression?"

"You look lovely, Pansy. I'm so sorry I couldn't attend your funeral last year" I shot back at her as we stared at each other from our table in charms, smiles breaking out on our faces as I tried to keep my laughter quiet

"You two are bloody brutal"

"Thank you for noticing"

"Yes, Daphne. It means a lot to us"

"I can tell" she muttered before turning her chair around completely as Blaise done the same and the two stared at us

"Why're you-?"

"My favourite number is six"

"Did I fucking ask?"

"Mine is nine- and if we put them together..."

"We get fifteen!" Daphne said happily, staring at Blaise with a grin as he stared back blankly before turning to us slowly with a look of exasperation as Pansy looked at her with a smirk

"Wow... who knew you were capable of maths?"

"Or doing it that quick?"

"I'm more surprised at the fact she knows what a number is" I added on as a scowl grew on Daphne's face and the three of us sat there laughing while she went into a huff as Pansy grinned at me

"Aren't we all surprised?"

"Fuck you all"

"What the fuck is wrong with us today? We're so brutal" I pointed out laughing as I poked Daphne's cheek, a smile growing as the bell rang and we packed up hastily as we left the classroom and I followed them to the common room so I could drop my bag off before quickly changing into my robes as I waved them off, practically running down to the pitch

"You had genuinely a minute to spare-"

"Shut up you two, you guys didn't have class" I told Adrian and Miles as he chucked me my broom and I instantly kicked off, joining the rest of the team in the air.

"Stay still-"

"No-"

"I'm trying to help though!"

"You're also trying to scratch my face off though" I told Miles laughing as I tried to swat his hands away from my face as we continued to walk up the grass slope as he continued to try and rub the mud off of the side of my face

"Flint can you get him to back off?"

"In all fairness it is all the way down the side of your face-"

"I know it is but- get your hands away from my face Bletchley!" I told him as I swiped at his hands and he eventually stopped, looking at me laughing as the three of us walked into the common room

"We got here really quickly"

"That's because you were practically running up the slope-"

"Aye, to get away from him" I told Flint while jerking my head at Miles as the three of us laughed and I left the two, heading down to the dorm and opening the door as I narrowly avoided getting hit by a bottle

"What the fuck is going on in here?!" I shouted as I watched Pansy let out what sounded like a scream as she ran at Millicent, rugby tackling her to the floor before grabbing a book as she started hitting her with it as I lunged forward, grabbing her around the middle as I hauled her off, ignoring the fact she threw the book at Millicent as I looked at Daphne for help before edging out of the dorm with Pansy as I dragged her from the common room and into the great hall as I forced her down onto the bench beside me, dinner just starting

"What the hell was that all about?" I asked quietly as she dug her palms into her eyes forcefully and I gently took ahold of her hands, drawing them away as I looked at her blotchy face

"I hate her Lia"

"I can tell- what did she do? Or say?" I asked as she shook her head furiously, wiping her eyes frantically as I dug into my pocket and pulled out a tissue and handed it to her

"So you don't want to talk about it, is there anything I can do?"

"No-"

"Do you want a hug?" I asked quietly as she nodded and wrapped her arms around my neck tightly as I hugged her back with a quiet sigh

"Just talk if you need to"
