"Lia?"

"No" I mumbled quietly from the entrance hall steps as I kept my head in my hands as the space next to me was taken and a sick feeling stayed in my stomach

"Are you feeling okay?-"

"She should've been in class. If she'd have of just stayed in class-"

"Don't go blaming yourself Amelia-"

"But I'm the oldest. I'm supposed to be looking after them. I should have of been there with her, making sure she was okay. I might've prevented something-"

"You were in class, you didn't know" Cedric told me quietly as I let out a mumble, getting pulled into a hug as I gripped tightly at his arm

"You didn't know"

"But I still-"

"Amelia, stop, please. You couldn't have of-"

"But I might've prevented something-"

"Maybe, yes. But we don't know that-"

"I still-"

"She's in the hospital wing and she'll be alright. Come on, it's almost curfew-"

"I couldn't care"

"Amelia, we've still got to go" he told me quietly as I let out a sigh, standing up as I headed inside with him as I wrapped my arm around him, walking through the dark corridors silently as we eventually made it to the point where we'd turn different ways as he carried on walking

"What're you doing? You're to go that way"

"I know I am. But I want to walk you to your common room"

"But why?"

"Because I want to make sure you get there okay"

"Has Nathan put you up to this?"

"No. I've decided to do this by myself. Are you alright?"

"Yeah..."

"You're not-"

"But you still ask-"

"Because I care. I'll see in the morning, yeah?"

"Yeah, I suppose. Night Cedric" I mumbled as I was pulled into one last hug as I mumbled quietly to him before I was let go of and I waved over my shoulder before turning the corner, disappearing down the steps before going into the common room as the room fell quiet and I looked to them all

"What the fuck are you lot staring at?" I asked as I looked about, a slight loud edge to my voice as they all started turning away slowly and talking again as I walked over to the corner of the room, dumping myself down next to Blaise as I leant against him with a sigh

"Are you-?"

"Don't even"

"Ok...."

"Thank you, but please just don't Blaise. Not right now"
