"Amelia?"

"What?"

"Dalmer and Diggory are looking for you" Millicent told me as she pulled back the drapes on my bed as I looked up at her, a few plasters on both of my hands as I picked at them

"They've been looking around for quite awhile apparently. You alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'll leave soon"

"I think they're getting quite agitated" she told me before disappearing with a slight shrug as I pushed myself up and looked around the empty dorm before unwillingly pushing myself up as I got dressed and left a little while later.

"Where've you been?"

"I was in bed-"

"And I thought it was only me that was prone to sleeping in-"

"I was awake, Blaise. I had been awake for-"

"Excuse me" getting dragged backwards, I glanced at Nathan as I offered a small wave to Blaise as I was walked towards the entrance hall before getting pulled down onto the steps outside, the cold morning air hitting my skin as I looked to him

"What happened?"

"I don't know"

"Did it hurt?" He asked quietly as I showed him my hands and he grabbed my left one as he took the plasters off and looked at the dark and painful cuts that had appeared on my hands a couple of hours later last night.

"It's hurts now- well... not anymore" I muttered after he had waved his wand, all of the cuts healing as the plasters disappeared and I gave a small nod as I was dragged over while he gripped at both of my hands, staring between them and me intently

"Do you have any idea what happened?"

"No"

"Or what caused it?"

"I don't have any clue whatsoever. It just... happened"

"Is this the first time?" Shaking my head I looked at him and watched as his eyes widened

"How many times? Roughly?"

"Including this time? Three.... maybe four times. I'm not sure exactly... it only seems to happen when I get really angry..."

"Have you told anyone?"

"I was going to tell mum but.... you know. I can't really"

"What about any of the professors? McGonagall disappeared to talk with Dumbledore instantly and Snape was determined to talk to me. And he'll probably talk to you"

"I don't want to talk to him"

"Are you going tonight?"

"Going where?"

"The duelling club"

"There's a-?"

"Set up late last night, first lesson is tonight. The teachers want you all to be able to defend yourselves-"

"Really? Defend ourselves? Nathan, my mum trained as an auror with the Mad-eye Moody. She fought in the Wizarding War. If such a well trained witch couldn't defend herself what hope is there going to be for a bunch of kids?"

"You're more than capable of defending yourself"

"I'll probably be able to do the spells they plan on teaching-"

"More than likely. Amelia, I'm going to owl Adam-"

"Nooo-"

"Yes" he cut across me as I groaned and laid down on the steps before lifting my head to look at him

"Why?"

"Because he might know what's caused this. Your arms were bright white Lia-"

"I know. But I doubt he knows what caused it-"

"He might have an idea-"

"But he always makes such a big fuss!"

"We all do. And for good reasons"

"This isn't an exception for an excuse"

"Yes it is. Now come on, get up, you have classes-"

"I don't want to-"

"But have to. I'll owl you as soon as I talk to Adam"
