"What Daphne? What?" I asked quickly, staring at her from where I was leaning against my desk as she stared at me wide eyed, Pansy walking out from the bathroom with a grin as Daphne turned to her

"You're going along with it?!"

"Of course I am, why wouldn't I?"

"Because she'll get herself expelled!"

"I won't get myself expelled, Daphne-"

"Even if you don't, you'll get yourself hurt!"

"Wow Daphne, thanks for the faith-"

"So it's true then? You're duelling Weasley?"

"Wow, who knew news could travel so fast to unwanted ears?" I asked, staring at Millicent who was standing in the doorway as I stood up properly

"I'll tell Snape"

"On you go, even if you do: it won't stop me from going through with it-"

"You're so unbelievably dumb and bigoted-"

"To you, maybe I am. Now if you'll excuse me, I must go and rest my neck. It's getting sore from looking down at you" I told her, eyes narrowed as I left the dorm and brushed past her, a laugh coming from behind me. Walking through the halls I had a little smile to myself, amused at the situation I was in as I was called at from behind

"Amelia?"

"Adam?" I asked laughing as I went over and hugged him tightly, grinning as I started laughing before stepping back and looking at him while walking outside, sitting down on the steps as he looked at me

"What?"

"You're happy"

"Yep-"

"Very happy"

"Indeed-"

"Why?"

"Ow"

"I'm being serious, it's actually kind of concerning-"

"Adam!"

"Amelia.... tell me, please. I want to know as to why you're so happy"

"I've gotten myself into a duel-"

"What?! Amelia are you serious?! I thought it was going to be something like you were dating that Ravenclaw! Not something serious like this!"

"Well it's not Lucas I'm dating but-"
