"Yikes"

"That's.... that's brutal" Adam said quietly as I laughed slightly before standing up as I rinsed my cup out at the sink as the rain finally started to stop

"It's honest. That's what it is.... just brutal honesty"

"It was too far-"

"I don't know why she would say something like that-"

"She's probably just stressed or something-"

"Being stressed isn't a reasonable excuse" turning around I looked at Nathan who had walked in as he pointed to the living room

"He's about to use the Floo system"

"He is?" I asked as he nodded as I slipped past and I walked into the living room, passing him the tray he was looking for as I went over to the fireplace beside him

"Did he threaten you?"

"No, he just spoke at me"

"At you'? Did you talk back?" I asked laughing as a small smile grew on his face and he looked up at me

"I meant to ask you something"

"Again. That worries me"

"When are you planning on going to Diagon Alley?"

"Oh I don't know.... probably the last week of August or something-"

"Same time as Zabini and I. You're coming along"

"You're just telling me. Who said I didn't already have plans?"

"Because you had to think about when you were going. It was an uncertain answer, if you had plans you would've knew" he told me as I continued laughing while he stepped into the fireplace

"I'll send you an owl"

"You will?" I asked laughing as a small grin grew on his face and he threw the powder down, disappearing within seconds as I walked back to the kitchen and leant against the doorframe with a slight sigh as I looked at the three and tried to offer a smile

"So...."

"So"

"So"

"You know that she won't come back, right? Not until that shit party is over"

"You'd think she would"

"It's the type of mother she is" I told Ali quietly before standing upright

"I'll be in my room" leaving the kitchen I headed up the stairs and to my room as I shut my door behind me and looked at the dark green walls that had Slytherin banners pinned up on them

I wish that you hadn't been sorted into Slytherin and turned out to be who you are

Feeling a strange sense of guilt fill my stomach I looked around again before glancing to the window as I stared at myself. Walking away I pulled my bag out from under my bed and walked to my wardrobe as I went in and started packing clothes in the bottom of it until it was full to the brim as a loud crack came from the hall, loud footsteps following

"Astra! Out of the house!" Nadia screeched as I stood upright, hearing everything plainly as something crashed in the living room and I listened to Astra make a fuss in the hallway as everything went quiet and I sighed

"Well, that'll be the coffee table fucked-"

"Why was the horse in the fucking living room?!" She shouted at the top of her lungs as I grabbed my jacket and pulled my bag on, glancing out of my window and to Astra who was running about happily in the garden as I went into my bathroom, shifting the cabinet out of the way as I climbed through the gap, pulling it back as I walked down the stairs to the basement before walking up the other set to the door as I opened it quietly and stood in the hall

"Well?"

"We-"

"Don't-"

"Know-"

"Stop acting like kids! Did Amelia go with Malfoy? Did he leave with her?"

"Yes. But he's gone home" I told her as I walked to the living room, glancing at the broken coffee table as I picked up the ring box I had put on it earlier as she stood in the doorway

"Amelia, please listen-"

"No"

"What's in your bag?"

"Clothes"

"Why?"

"Because I'm going-"

"Going where?!"

"France-"

"But we only got to France as a family!-"

"Yes, well sometimes I don't feel like I'm part of this family!" I said back just as loudly as something flickered across her face and she replied so quickly she might as well have of cut me off

"Sometimes you don't bloody act like you are!" She shouted back at me as I stared at her silently, reaching into the floo tray before throwing it down

"Thanks" I muttered as I disappeared in the green flames, landing unsteadily a few moments later as I looked around the grey themed living room, a strange feeling sweeping over me as I looked around the dark room
