Walking down towards the Great Hall with Pansy and Daphne either side of me I looked around my bag confused

"Do we have transfiguration today?"

"Yeah, first thing-"

"You're joining us?"

"Yeah, McGonagall said I could if I wanted to. Just for today though I think- dammit, I've forgotten my book. Can we go back and get it before class starts?" I asked as the two nodded with a smile and I sorted my bag again

"We could go back and get it now if you-? What in the name of Merlin is happening here?"

"What's got your wands in a knot?" Pansy asked as I looked to Draco and Blaise who were walking towards us quickly while we stopped just outside of the doors of the Great Hall

"Oh, what? Nothing. We just thought we could all head to class early. Right, Draco?"

"Yeah, we thought we'd just stand outside and get some last minute revision done-"

"For what? Our transfiguration exam isn't until next week"

"We think McGonagall moved it to today. Amelia, come on" Draco urged as he jerked his head towards the way we had just came

"Can we grab something to eat first-?"

"We got you all an apple. Catch- lets go, come on" Blaise said as he threw a red apple in my direction and I glanced between the two of them as Pansy and Daphne done the same

"What's happening?"

"What? Nothing. Nothing's happening, we just thought we'd get to class early like we said"

"Well I'll catch up with you. I need to go and get my transfiguration book-"

"Use mine, but let's go Lia" Draco said as I looked at him confused

"But I need to talk to-"

"You can talk with them at lunch, Amelia"

"I don't know if I'll be able to find Holly at lunch though, honestly, I'll catch up" I said to him as I turned and walked towards the hall as my arm was grabbed and Draco stood in front of me while I ignored him, instead staring at the corner of a banner that was visible from where we were standing as I moved to the side, slipping my arm from his grip

"No, Lia come on, please" ignoring him I continued walking as I stood in front of the doors, my eyes on the banner above the tables as his hand landed on my shoulder and I read it over and over again

Amelia Black is a skank

"Come on, Lia, it's not true" I heard him tell me quietly as I blinked, my eyes glued to it as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders and walked me away from the hall as I followed numbly, my eyes starting to sting as I trailed up the steps, finally finding ourselves in the Transfiguration corridor where Blaise was arguing quietly with Pansy and Daphne as I was walked past them and into the classroom before sitting down in the chairs at the back of the class as I stared down blankly at the scratches on the table in front of the two of us

"Lia?"

"Hmm? What?"
