I love you

WTF

What do you mean 'WTF'?

Welcome to Friendzone

"Miss Black and Mr Diggory, are you passing notes during my class?"

"No-"

"Yes"

"Cedric you dumbass"

"Awh thanks Lia, I love you too"

"I know you do"

"That was smug"

"Of course it was: you love me and only me, I have every reason to be smug"

"But I love my parents as well"

"I know you do. You love me just as much and so do they"

"They do actually"

"Wait... they do?"

"Of course they do!"

"Oh my god... I'm loved!"

"Of course you are. I love you, how did you not-?"

"Miss Black and Mr Diggory"

"Sorry Professor"

"Can I carry on with my lesson?"

"Yes Professor"

"Thank you, now, as I was saying; this spell is very dangerous, especially in the wrong hands. This spell has been known to leave people dead and- if they survive- with life long injuries, it creates a wide and gaping hole with anything it touches; material, walls, stone and even human flesh-"

"Professor? Are you sure you should teach that spell with Black in the class? She could-"

"That is enough of that Stebbins, twenty points from Ravenclaw. I have total faith that Miss Black won't use this spell to attack or hurt anyone in any way" McGonagall said loudly as she glanced towards where I was sitting with Cedric, a small nod to me as I glanced back to the crumpled up pieces of parchments on the desk me and Cedric had been using to talk to each other as I was pulled into a side hug and I smiled up at him while resting my head against him

"As I was saying. This spell is extremely dangerous in the wrong hands... here is why" she told us as she swished her wand, her voice sharp as she pointed it at her desk, a loud bang that sounded like a gunshot filled the air as I stared shocked at the hole in her desk, quickly getting fixed in the blink of an eye as she turned back to us

"Now this incantation can be found in a few of the books in the library and in the ones you have but I must ask you not to look them up and start experimenting with them. Is that clear?" She asked sharply as I nodded along with the others as her eyes wandered over to the twins who were sitting a few rows down in front of us as I nudged Cedric gently

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. I just wanted to ask if you had any food"

"No, I don't, sorry. Are you sure you're alright?"

"Yeah, just sort of cold"

"Here-"

"Cedric, no"

"Yes-"

"No. No- I- no- I don't want your robe- take it b-"

"Keep it on, Amelia" he murmured as he finally wrapped his robe around my shoulders as I gripped at it, snuggling into it with a small smile

"There we are"

"Oh shut up. Thank you though"

"No problem, I would have of gave you my jumper but I'm not wearing it"

"You're not-? Oh, you're not"

"No, I'm not" he agreed amused as I fiddled with his slightly creased shirt with a small amused smile as he let out a laugh as he looked at me

"You know-"

"Don't say it-"

"You suit Hufflepuff robes"

"There we are"

"And I mean you suit them really well. You could always move to my house if you want, we're the house that accepts all-"

"Are you only saying that because I wouldn't be accepted into any other house? And if I was in Hufflepuff or any other house Nadia might have of actually liked me?" I asked quietly as he wrapped his arm around me tighter and he turned to look at me properly as I glanced up at him

"No and no. I want you in my house because I believe you are a Hufflepuff. I want you to be a Hufflepuff but you're not and I'm fine with that, you're a Slytherin and I still love you and I accept that because not only do Slytherins and Hufflepuffs get along extremely well, Slytherin is a mixture of all the houses and that's why you're one. Now I don't speak ill of people but what your mother says and does is completely stupid and ill mannered and quite frankly she crosses the line with what she says. You don't need her anyway. You have me and I have you, that's all we need" he told me while fiddling with the robe around me, buttoning it up before his head appeared in front of me and I looked at him with a small smile

"Sorry, I shouldn't have of-"

"Oh enough with your apologies, you have nothing to apologise for"

"Thank you" I murmured as I hugged him back and pressed my head against him with a mumble

"I love you Lia. I just want you to know that"

"I love you too"
