"What's that you're making?"

"Tea"

"What kind of tea?" Nathan asked quietly from behind me as I put the bottle away, taking a sip from my mug as I turned around to him

"'Te' quila"

"Give it here Amelia..." he said to me quietly, sighing slightly as he gave me a small smile and held his hand out as I paused, mid drink before lowering my mug as I passed it over to him for him to put it onto the counter beside him as I looked at him

"Why are you drinking already? It's not even ten yet"

"I know. But I was thirsty"

"There's a perfectly fine working tap just behind you"

"Oh. Must've missed it" I muttered with a shrug as we looked at each other and I walked past him, sitting down on the couch in mum's quarters as he sat next down next to me and I looked at him, cutting him off when he went to talk

"Speak"

"I was away to...."

"I mean about what happened when I-"

"Amelia-"

"Was four. What happened after that day Nathan? What happened?" I asked him as he stared at me and I met his eye, not blinking as I pursued my lips and watched as a grin started to form on his face as he pointed at me amused

"You're so determined to get an answer from me!"

"Nathan-"

"I can't take you seriously-"

"Wanna bet?" I asked quietly as I stared at him and he let his smile drop, rubbing his face with a quiet sigh before casting me a side glance as he leant back properly and looked at me

"How do you even know about-?"

"Because I dreamt about it"

"What exactly did you dream?"

"I dreamt that the three of us had been outside in the snow and the other two went in. The path outside the house was the only part that didn't have snow and I followed it-"

"No. The whole place was covered in snow, every single inch. Only because it was the most snow we had had in years-"

"Will you tell the story from your perspective then?"

"You're going to make me, aren't you?"

"Yep"

"Fine. So I remember Holly and Oscar coming in, disappearing up the stairs quickly and she said that you were still outside. So a couple of hours passed, and we had all assumed you were still outside so I went through to the kitchen and tugged my shoes on etcetera etcetera and Adam came with me because we were about to tell you to come inside anyway. So we went outside and we were looking around and there was no sign of you whatsoever but then we seen the trail of tiny footprints and we didn't even think, we didn't shout to Nadia or any of the others... we just ran. And we ran and we ran and we ran and there was no sign of you, we were shouting at the top of our lungs and everything. But of course, we eventually found you and neither of us knew what was beside you so we tried to shout you down and away from it but of course, stubborn four year old you wouldn't listen.... and you picked the flower... and you were bitten... and the pile of snow caved in...." he explained to me quietly, a few pauses in between sentences as he stared at the fireplace before turning to me

"That's all that happened, really"

"What about after? Why am I only noticing these now?" I asked as I rolled up my sleeve, pointing out the numerous white dots as he took ahold of my arm and twisted it before looking back to me

"That's not where you were bitten-"

"It's where I was bitten in my dream"

"Amelia, you were bitten on your hip. When you woke up you were genuinely crying in pain, you wouldn't let go-"

"So what happened after then Nathan?"

"Nothing, really. It-"

"You said I was crying in pain and that I wouldn't let go-"

"Fine, just.... it took me and Adam ages to dig you out and when we finally did you were freezing and that orange thing was nowhere to be seen, and what was left of that flower was nothing more than a couple of glittering stones. When we had got you back the others were passed out in the living room since they had been drinking so much and we wrapped you in so many blankets and jackets, we were lucky that Adam knew what he was doing and that he was a healer. It took about two hours, nearly three for you to wake up and as soon as you did you let out a scream, crying your eyes out with a look of complete agony. You were hugging me as tightly as you could but gripping at Adams hand with all of your might" he explained to me again quietly as I looked away, not even realising that I had rubbed my hip as I thought it over for a few minutes before looking back to him confused

"What is it?"

"How old was I?"

"About four.... almost five-"

"But... I didn't know you when I was four. None of us did. We met you guys and the rest of the teams when we were-"

"Oh look at that! The Floo's up and running! Got to take this Lia, could be important. I'll talk to you later though, yeah?" He said to me, not giving me a chance to answer as he jumped to his feet and pulled me up beside him before pushing me to the door and shutting it on me as I banged my fist against it

"Nathan?!"
