"What are you doing here?"

"What?"

"You weren't here before"

"What? Yes I was, I've been here this whole time... I'm just small..."

"That's the shittest excuse I've ever heard"

"Fuck off Blaise" I said to him as we both started laughing as I looked back to Lockhart who stood in front of our table staring at me before giving an uncertain nod as he walked away, casting a slightly suspicious look over his shoulder as I let out a quiet snort

"I can't believe he thought I wasn't here"

"I know, and I thought I couldn't meet a dumber person than you"

"I know I mean Jesus Chr- fuck you" I said to him as I pointed at him and he sat there laughing silently until a smile slowly formed on my face

"I hate you"

"No you don't, you love me-"

"You're right, I do-"

"What you hate is the fact that one of those dwarves chased you around the potions classroom on Valentine's Day, trying to get you to take that card-"

"Oh my god please don't remind me of that, I wanted nothing more than to just to evaporate on the spot"

"I understand that but, hey, you should cheer up- you whacked it over the head with a four hundred page hardback book"

"I did, and it's the highlight of my life. I have never been prouder of myself"

"And I've never been prouder of you"

"Awh thank you Blaise- it means a lot to me to know that someone has been proud of me at least once"

"I don't know whether that's something I should relate to or not" he said quietly as we both burst out into a state of silent laughter

"You know what I love? We're so unbelievably close to the front of the class, we don't do any work and he does absolutely nothing about it"

"I know, I think the only reason he doesn't look up is because he's more than likely got a mirror glued to his desk and he constantly has his face in it" I murmured as we both cast a glance to him where he was staring down at his desk with a grin on his face as I started laughing again

"I think you're right"

"For once so do I-" I started to say sniggering but cut myself off as Peeves swooped into the room violently as I jumped slightly before a laugh got the better of me as he breathed in deeply before belting at the top of his lungs

"ATTACK! ANOTHER ATTACK! NOBODY IS SAFE- NO STUDENT, GHOST OR PROFESSOR! BLOOD STATUS DOESN'T MATTER! ATTACKKK!" He shouted as the words echoed painfully in my ears and the door flew open, Lockhart disappearing as the other doors along the corridor banged open too as a string of people scrambled to get out of their chairs as Peeves turned to me, a sick smile matching the nasty glint in his eyes

"Not in a good shape, oh no, no she's not"

"Who is it Peeves?" I asked him quietly as I took a quick glance around the empty room, only me and Blaise left

"If you don't tell me I'll get the Barron"

"No need for the Barron, you should just go take a look yourself" he said with a grin as I hopped over the table with Blaise behind me as I slipped past people with a confused feeling growing inside me as everybody started whispering as the teachers tried to get them back into the classrooms

Getting to the front of the crowd I felt the colour drain from my face as I stared at the black hair spread all over the floor, green eyes staring up blankly at the ceiling as Peeves' voice floated to me from the classroom door as he let out a piercing cackle

"Not in a good state is she? Your sister"
