Sitting down at the table I stared off into space while drinking slowly from my goblet
"Amelia" blinking, I looked up at Blaise who had appeared in front of me as he looked at me with raised eyebrows
"I've been trying to talk to you for the last six minutes-"
"Such a precise time" I mumbled to him before taking another drink as I went back to staring off
"Amelia? Are you okay?"
"Me? Yeah, yeah I'm fine"
"Lia, don't lie. Is it what happened yesterday that's bothering you?"
"What? No. It's not bothering me, I'm not bothered" I said to him as I watched a piece of a crumpled up parchment get dropped onto my empty plate as I turned around and watched as the Ravenclaw walked off, throwing a look to me over his shoulder as I turned away and back to the paper
"I'm not even sure if I want to know what it says- Blaise just pass me it" I said with a slight sigh after he had taken it from my plate and flattened it out, his eyes scanning across it for a moment before he glanced up at me while balling it up as Draco sat down next to me and looked between us
"What did it say?"
"Nothing"
"Blaise-"
"It wasn't anything important-"
"Blaise please just give me it"
"Incendio- oops. No going back now"
"Blaise. Why did you do that?"
"My hand slipped" he said with a shrug as I looked at him while he tried to offer a small smile and I glanced down under the table and tried to find my bag before I slung it over my shoulder and stood up
"I have a charms class to get to, I'll see you two later" I mumbled as I started to walk away from them
"Amelia?"
"Yeah?" I asked as I turned around and looked at Draco who had turned towards me
"I'm taking that seat next to you in Lupin's class"
"Alright" I said to him quietly as I walked away with my head down as people avoided me in corridors, sending insults and slurs after me. Walking into the charms class it fell quiet as I came into sight, all eyes on me as I bowed my head again and walked to the back of the room as I took a table for myself and got everything out before sitting with my head in my hands. I lifted my head slightly as the two chairs to my left scraped across the floor as I glanced at the two who had sat down beside me
"What are you doing?"
"Sitting down-"
"Clearly"
"Why here?"
"Because we thought you could use the company"
"People will stare at you and start talking about you though"
"As if people don't already do that"
