"Is there another word for 'horny', but not in a sexual way? - like, I'm horny for Halloween, but... I don't wanna fuck a pumpkin" Pansy mumbled quietly as both me and Daphne turned to her as we stopped on the staircase

"....do you mean 'excited'?"

"That's it! That's the word I'm looking for!" She grinned as I continued to stare at her stupidly, shaking my head as we carried on walking up the stairs and Daphne squeezed her way between the two of us and looked between us

"Speaking of which, what do you guys wanna be for Halloween?"

"Liked-"

"Trusted, appreciated, loved...." I sighed as I looked down the corridor with a far off look before both me and Pansy burst into fits of laughter

"I- I was going to be a vampire"

"Wait, you were going to go as something?"

"No, I used to as a child though. I would sit at my dinner table with a pair of fangs in, pretending to be a vampire-"

"Do you have a thing for vampires?" I asked with a laugh after we had sat down on the bench, the feast already having started as I looked down the table with a grin, instantly putting food on my plate before glancing up as she raised her hand slightly with a shy smile

"Guilty-"

"Fucking weirdo" Pansy mumbled as we turned to her and watched her look up slowly and glance between us as the three of us burst out laughing

"What've I missed?"

"Nothing, Nothing" I told Blaise as he sat down next to Daphne who had her hand over her mouth to try and silence her laughter and I grabbed a handful of candy corn and wrapped them in a napkin before slipping them into my pocket as I raised my eyebrows at their questioning looks.

"What? They're for later-"

"But you have biscuits in your wardrobe-"

"Will you stop looking for my bloody biscuits?!"

Soon enough, the feast had ended and we, with everyone else started to leave the hall. Following the crowd we were brought to sudden halt a couple of floors up.

"Has somebody forgotten how to walk? Move!"

"Shift it kids! Come on!-"

"The chamber of secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir, beware?" A familiar voice called out as I pushed my way through the crowd and spotted the writing on the wall, smeared across in blood, the red lettering reading exactly that. Next to it a shadow was cast across the wall as a cat hung from the bracket, moving about slightly I stared at the stiff body of Mrs Norris as mum pried her down from the wall and held her in her arms

"You'll be next mudbloods" Malfoy called out again as I turned my head and stared at him, mum having turned and stared at him as well

"That's enough from you" She told him sharply as Dumbledore and McGonagall came forward

"Everyone return to your dorms immediately... except, you three" Dumbledore told everyone, his voice quiet but loud enough to get everyone's attention as he stared at Harry, Ron and Hermione as he motioned for them to follow him as people started clearing out of the hall and I walked through the soaking floor, feet becoming damp as I reached their sides while they stared at me confused

"That's what it said. Looked like blood" I told them quietly as we were shimmied away down the corridor until we got to the common room where everybody instantly burst into loud talk that carried around the room as I glanced to the others and nodded towards the dorm as we all dispersed down and I shut the door behind us quickly while looking at them

"Four galleons says this has something to do with Potter!"

"But it's always about Potter!"

"I know. You might as well give me those four galleons now" I told Daphne with a laugh as she stuck her tongue at me and walked to her bed and dumped down unhappily as I grinned at her

"This is the only thing the school's going to talk about now"

"Of course it is. It's not like they do anything productive anyway"
