Walking silently behind McGonagall through the halls with Harry, the two of us kept our heads down as she led us to a classroom as she stepped in and asked for Wood as I looked up confused until an older boy stepped out of her classroom as he held the same look on his face as me

"Wood- I've found you a seeker!" McGonagall said with a proud smile as I looked at Harry smiling as he stood there with a look of confusion on his face as I zoned out of the conversation

"Professor. Why have you brought a Slytherin?"

"Ah, well I'm needing to talk to Miss Black about something other than what happened outside but I'm sure Mr Flint will want to talk to her as well. Is he in?" She asked as he nodded and disappeared back into the class as Harry was sent off and I leant against the wall as a Slytherin came out, casting a shadow over me instantly as I straightened up and looked at him, a slight nervous feeling as I looked at his face

"Flint I'm sure you are in need of a player- Miss Black will make a fine chaser or seeker" she said as he turned from her and back to me as he raised an eyebrow at me before momentarily looking me up and down before he turned between the two of us

"What year is she in Professor?"

"First, although I'm sure that if she is needed to fill in a spot that Professor Snape will find a way to let her play"

"What's your name?"

"Amelia Black" I told him as his eyes widened slightly and shock crossed his face

"And do you have a broom?"

"Of course but it's at home, a Nimbus Two Thousand"

"Friday night, six o'clock meet me down at the quidditch pitch and we'll see what you've got- thank you Professor" he said as I nodded as he nodded to her and walked back into the classroom as she motioned for me to follow her down the hall as I did so

"I must say Miss Black that's one of the few times I've ever saw him show interest in something the way he did, one of the rare times I've seen him be polite as well" she admitted as I laughed quietly

"So he's that type of person is he?"

"I'm afraid he can be"

"Wait. You're head of Gryffindor. Why were you helping the Slytherin team?"

"Because as much as I want to see Slytherin lose its all about fair play- now, it should really be Professor Snape talking to you about this but he's busy teaching third years at the moment so I thought I would. I received a letter from your mother this morning telling me that you were asthmatic"

"Oh right, yes I am"

"She sent three inhalers with the letter and requested I gave you one" she told me as an inhaler appeared before her and she took ahold of it before passing me it as I tucked it into my pocket and continued to follow her down a hall

"Now the concern that I have is that in some classes some spells, charms and enchantments may go wrong and a cloud of smoke could appear which has been known to happen. She has also asked that I inform all the teachers of your condition as long as you're okay with it"

"Yeah that's fine, I don't see a problem with it"

"Well that's fine then, and just in case she's asked me to give one inhaler to Madame Pomfrey while I keep the other in my office just in case you do need one at any time"
