"What is it you're needing?" Blaise asked quietly, a tired look on his face after I walked into the dark dorm as he sat with his wand lit while I gripped at the cuffs of my quidditch jumper

"Physical contact"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah, can I have a hug?" I asked quietly as he pushed his duvet off of him and stopped for a moment as he looked up with a surprised look while he met my gaze

"I- yeah, sure" he told me quietly as he pushed himself up and creeped over to me as I wrapped my arms around him tightly and rested my head against him as he swayed slightly

"I've never actually realised how strong your grip is"

"Sorry" I mumbled quietly as I went to step back while he pulled me back towards him before wandering over to his bed as he sat me down beside him, keeping me in a hug before pulling the duvet over us both as I rested my head on his chest

"I never said it was a bad thing. Are you alright?"

"I don't want to be here anymore Blaise-"

"Please don't say that Amelia-"

"But I hate it, I hate everything. I just don't want to put up with it, Nadia isn't making it any easier either" I mumbled as I wiped at my face, turning my head to make sure that the other three were still asleep

"Has she said something else?"

"She was back about a week or so ago. And she just glared at me, she must've said something about me to Oscar because he wouldn't take his eyes off of me and she kept looking over with a disappointed and disgusted look-"

"I know you hate it Lia, I know that this place has changed for you. I don't know what it's like personally but you know I'm always here. What your mother did was terrible, no one should say something like that about anyone, she shouldn't treat you like that either. You always have us anyway-"

"Zabini?"

"What?"

"Stop your mumbling and go back to sleep, because that's what I'm trying to do" Draco mumbled from the bed next to him as I glanced up, looking at where he was lying with his face hidden in his pillow and duvet wrapped loosely around him as I glanced at Blaise before making a move to get up as he pulled me back towards him with a shake of his head

"Just ignore him. Like I was saying: you'll always have us. We'll all be here, whether you want us there or not" he told me quietly as a smile tugged at my face and I looked up at him as he grinned at me

"Yes, we may be annoying but you don't care- or at least I hope you don't. We can be your family, if your biological family aren't making an effort to make sure you're alright then we will because that's what we're for. Yes, blood makes you an actual family but loyalty makes-"

"Zabini! Are you fucking deaf?! I told you to stop talking to yourself and go back to sleep. If you're not going to listen then go down to the common room or something" Draco hissed, annoyed as I glanced back up and looked at him to see him propped up on his bed, his hair sticking up slightly as he squinted over at us

"Oh- I thought he was talking to himself again"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you" I apologised quietly as he waved me off and sat up properly as he held the duvet to his chest while he reached around for a top

"You realise I'm shirtless, right? She doesn't care Draco" Blaise told him as he seemed to stop before turning to us as I looked at him for a moment before glancing down at my jumper as I felt my cheeks turn pink slightly, thankful the dorm was dark apart from the small light beside us as I tried to push my confusion aside while I glanced back up, watching as he let the duvet become loose as it fell downwards and he turned himself towards us

"So what's this little nighttime gathering all about then?"

"Lia wanted to come through"

"Was it Bulstrode?" He asked as I shook my head silently as he got up with his duvet and creeped across the floor before pushing Blaise's legs aside as he sat down on the mattress with his covers wrapped around his shoulders as he looked between us tiredly

"You can go back to sleep, I'll go to my own dorm so you can get some peace-"

"No, it's alright, I'm up"

"Are you-?"

"Yeah, I'm sure" he mumbled quietly as my cheek was poked and I glanced up at Blaise

"You should get some sleep"

"I don't know if I'll be able to"

"I think you will. We've got classes in a few hours"

"You'll need to sleep as well then. Both of you"

"We'll sleep when you do" Blaise told me quietly as I mumbled incoherently to myself before resting my head back against him as I felt circles get rubbed into my shoulder as my eyes slowly started to grow heavy after awhile, Blaise's and Draco's voices barely meeting my ears
