Damian growled as he dragged himself up the manor steps. It felt like everything that could go wrong that day, did.

Titus had gone missing early morning and he was late to school.

When he had gotten to school, many tried to ask him to the Winter Dance. He refused them all.

He had three finals that day and had little to no sleep the night before.

As he slammed the manor door shut, he was met with a sight.

"Angel?" He questioned, confused by her sight in his home.

Without a word, she smiled and took his bookbag from him and led him to the fireplace. She left for a moment and returned with a tray. Marinette returned with hot carrots ginger soup and hot apple side for Damian and a hot chocolate, for herself.

"You look like you had a hard day." Marinette spoke.

"Finals." He groaned.

"I'm sure you breezed right through them." She smiled.

"Kept getting invited to the stupid dance." Damian admitted.

He chuckled as she made a face.

"I turned them all down." He stated, kissing her cheek, "No one could compare to you. Why don't you go with me?"

"I'd love to." She smiled, "I would have to make my dress!"

Damian sighed as he knew he had lost her. She'd hurry away to get her sketchbook and get lost in the designing process.

"But," Mari smirked," I can start on that tomorrow. I just want to spend time with you, right now."

"Me too, Habibiti." Damian whispered.

He knew his girlfriend would be busy tomorrow. He could live with that to see everyone's face when she walked into the dance on his arm.

He smiled as he watched the fire flicker, as he brought her into his arms. All it took was his angel to make his world right again.
