"Promise me that you will send me letters," he said, cupping your cheeks in his hands as he looked down into your solemn eyes with his own, "even in Latin. I will get my mother to translate them, so don't write anything dirty."

You laughed at this, placing your hands on top of his as they remained on your cheeks. "I will send letters, but you must ensure that no one sees Albus."

"Of course ... I'll make sure. And where will you be staying for the holidays?"

"Dursleys, I suppose."

"Alright ... I know where that is ... I can always come by."

"Just a week left of Hogwarts," you sighed, shifting yourself into Draco's chest and pressing your head against it, allowing yourself to hear the beating of his heart. He, too, wrapping his arms around you protectively and rested his chin on the tip of your head, his eyes closed, listening to the simple sound of your breathing. "How will you be getting home?"

"I've Floo Powder. The same way I got here."

"Can I come with you?"

"No." He said sharply but with a hint of sadness. "It's light outside ... and the Ministry is nearby ... you never know who to trust and who will see us."

You sighed heavily, melting into Draco's chest and refusing to let him go. He was absolutely no different, holding you tightly and dreading the thought of having to leave you. Finally, he sighed and, looking at you, pulled something out of his pocket. You watched to see what he was doing, only to find him running his hand through his hair, brushing it back, before placing a pin in his hair and successfully pinning his fringe back, exposing his forehead and entire face. You could not help but smile lightly at this view, at the perfect sight of Draco's whole face, as you felt your heart warmed and yet more pained at the knowledge that he was leaving.

"A pin?"

"The pin," he said, smiling at you, as he lifted up the hood onto his head from the hoodie.

"You look so British right now."

"Do I?" He laughed.

"Proper roadman."

"Yeah ... I see those all around," he agreed with a smile, "I'll miss you, [F/n]."

"I'll miss you too. Write to me."

"Apparate to me."

"I will," you smiled, hugging him one last final time.

And so, he set off. He was gone from the apartment as he'd left the door, closing it behind himself and setting off. You sighed wearily in the hall, leaning against the wall with the knowledge that Draco was gone, and you could physically feel your heart tear at the knowledge that he was not within your grasp any longer.

That was only until the door opened again from the outside, causing you to dart your eyes towards it in alarm, prepared to grab your wand from your pocket, only for Draco to reveal himself again as he closed the door behind himself.

"Draco?"

"I forgot something."

"What is it?"

And he thus pulled you within his arms, pressing a longing kiss upon your lips as he held your face against his. You smiled into the feel of his lips, melting into them entirely as he furrowed his brows in the process, feeling the suffering of this being your last kiss for a while. You stood there for a minute or two, simply kissing, when he finally pressed his lips against your forehead one more time, told you that he loves you, and he set off yet again into the grand world of London.
