Castelobruxo and Koldovstoretz were playing a game of Quidditch, and the winner would play against Hogwarts. You did not go to watch this game, as you'd busied yourself with other matters.

The so-called matters were running through spells, with your blindfold on. Draco had gone with Blaise to the game, so it was only you and Snape within the Room of Requirement. The burning would increase on one side, so you'd dodge. You'd jump to the other side of the room, still going forwards, only to feel increased pressure on the side you were on.

"You can't keep dodging spells." Snape announced on the other side of the room.

You clicked your tongue, and whipped your wand out of your back, aiming it at the ball of energy of pressure. You uttered no spell - it was not necessary. The wand acted from within your mind, and it did its own thing, which successfully eased the pressure, allowing you to continue returning through the spells.

It's true, it was becoming easier. Having had multiple sessions, hours long each, the ability to sense spells and magic was becoming second nature. The only fault was, as Snape said, you could not keep dodging spells, which you had been doing up until now. You'd be so focused on sensing the spells that you would forget of your own ability to rid the room of them. And sometimes, you did not know the type of spell to think of, or the type of magic to use, to get rid of the cursed magic.

Another spell here, there. You focused on using your wand this time. And you thus reached the end, feeling the room empty of energies. No more spells were around.

"Take your blindfold off," Snape said.

You pulled the blindfold off your eyes and looked around the room, making eye contact with Snape on the opposite end. He had a stopwatch in his hand, and pressed it.

"You dodged all spells, Potter."

"In?"

"In two minutes."

"Yes!" You exclaimed, victoriously posing. "Check me out."

"No."

"Isn't that good? Why aren't you happy?"

"I am happy." He said, his usual stoic face. "Can you not tell?"

"Yeah ... yeah, sure I can," you nodded. "I think I'll be ready to go soon."

"Weren't you supposed to speak to Daphne about it?"

"Yeah, but ... I'm putting it off. I'm scared to ask her. What if she freaks out? What if she accidentally tells Astoria, or something? I don't know, I just feel a bit anxious about speaking to her. Maybe I should just go alone."

"I don't think that's a good idea. It's doing stuff like that, that got you in therapy in the first place."

You huffed, hopelessly. Though Snape was right, it did not feel as it should - there was a discomfort at the thought. In all fairness, even Tom Riddle himself said that you ought to go with Daphne.

It was that evening, that you sat in the Slytherin common room, around the round table at the far end, with all your friends, all playing a game of UNO. It was the second round of UNO, with Ginny having won the first round. This time, it looked like Ron was going to win - he had the least cards at the present moment.

As Ron placed his card down, left with one card left, everyone around the table quickly started banging the table, before he could ever utter the word 'uno'.

"Pick up four cards!" Blaise yelled.

"No!" Ron exclaimed. "I never played like that!"

"It's on the rules!"
