Lexis POV

My moms have been on better terms and Hudson and I are AMAZING.

Both of us are in the semis, his is tonight and mine tomorrow.

I'm at the waffle counter and I feel his arms wrap around me from behind.

"There you are beautiful," he mumbles kissing the back of my head

"Hey baby," I hum "want some of my waffle?"

"Sure," he says into my hair

"Why are you being so clingy today?"

"Because I am so in love with you Alexis Topaz," he says kissing my cheek "I love you so much,"

"I love you too Hudson," I blush

The waffles finished and we go sit with his teammates. This kinda sucks, he's been cute all morning and he's never clingy around the guys- which I get, but I just really like the attention.

"Baby you're so far away," he says pulling my legs

I put my legs on top of his and smirk

"Better?"

"Much," he says kissing my cheek

We eat and talk for a while.

"Topaz, where's your team?"

"Probably still sleeping- my mom made us do cardio last night and absolutely destroyed everyone so we don't have practice today,"

"Wait, then why are you down here?" One of their newer teammates ask

"Oh the I love cardio, I've been doing my moms drills since I was 6 years old so I'm used to it- the boys not so much," I laugh

"Oh cool, I'm Zander by the way- I don't think we met in Riverdale,"

"Lexi," I say "and we didn't because Hudson broke up with me so I didn't sit with you guys, isn't that right babe," I tease

He kisses me and laughs

We joke around for a few more minutes before someone pours what I can assume to be hot chocolate on me from behind.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me," I say standing up and turning around "Brianna,"

"A pleasure as always Topaz,"

"I'm going to fucking kill you," I say lunging at her

"Babe, c'mon your mom would kill you," Hudson says grabbing my hand "come to mine, I still have your leggings and you can borrow a sweater?"

"You two are still screwing around?"

"Literally fuck off you abusive ugly little bitch,"

"Better than being a fucking slut isn't that right Bri?" One of the Hawaii players says "or a dyke. 0 for 2 Topaz,"

"Screw off P," Hudson warns "I told you to stay the fuck away from her,"

"You two weren't even together when I grabbed her ass Hudson give it up,"

"It doesn't matter you dumb fuck,"

Hudson's getting his back up so I think maybe I should deescalate this

"Baby, my hair is getting super sticky, can we just go upstairs and deal with this later?"

"Sure Lex,"

We go to the elevator and I sigh.

"How did none of that get on you?"
