Lexi's POV

Robbie's coming home today!

I'm so excited, I haven't seen him in so long.

Hudson texted and said he was almost here, he's coming over for the barbeque.

I hear a knock at the door and open it up.

"Hey baby," he says kissing my cheek

"Hey Huds,"

"My mom found some things that i thought you'd think were pretty cool,"

He pulls out an old baby team usa jersey with my moms number on the back. 

"Your mom signed this for me when I was three and you guys were in Hawaii,"

"No way," I laugh "that's amazing,"

"and then she found this football, it's signed by Rob and Ralph,"

He takes it out of his bag and I smile.

"Is Ralph coming too?"

"Mhm but thats a surprise for Robs,"

We bring the two things in to the kitchen to show my moms.

"Mama look at this, Hudson's mom found it,"

She looks at it and laughs

"This is so cool," she laughs "Cher, did you see this?"

"Awe I think I have Lexi's like that too,"

"And look at this ball,"

"That's not my signature- Reggies?"

"That's Rob, and that's Ralph," Hudson says

"This is so cute," Cheryl says looking at it "thank you for bringing this,"

"No problem at all," he laughs

We sit and talk for a while before Rob walks in the door.

"Robbie!" I say hugging him "I missed you so much,"

"I missed you too kid," he smiles

He hugs my moms and catches up a bit.

"Rob this is Hudson, my boyfriend,"

"Hey man nice to meet you," Rob says shaking his hand

"Nice to meet you too,"

"You play basketball right?"

Hudson nods and I grab his hand

"He's going to Globes too,"

They talk about that until TJ walks in with AJ.

They catch up and Hudson helps me get stuff ready for dinner.

"How've you been feeling babes?" He asks

"Better, my shoulder is doing really good,"

"Good I'm glad," he says hugging me from behind

"Huds?"

"Ya?"

"Thanks for everything. For telling my moms and trying to help me," I say leaning into him "and for staying with me through that craziness,"

"Why wouldn't I?" He asks "I wanna make sure you're safe and happy babygirl- always,"

I lean up and kiss him.

"By the way, I only remembered this morning that your brother was coming home. If your family wants to reconnect- I can go home and call you later,"

"No way, it's alright. My moms said you could come,"

"Okay, just making sure,"

"Are you excited for Globals?" I ask

"Mhm, we leave Thursday,"

"What? We leave Friday," I sigh "I wonder why,"

"I heard it had something to do with you moms. Coach says you guys start 3 days after us anyways so you'll be good for the time change and so will we,"

"I'll ask them later,"

We get things together so Reggie can start barbecuing and we go outside and all sit on the deck.

"So now that everyone's here, we have an announcement," Cheryl says taking Tonis hand

"We've been asked to adopt a little boy from California- and we decided to say yes,"

Everyone cheers and I smile

I love babies.

"How old is he?" Mia asks

"He's 7 months, and his name is Mateo,"

"Awe, that's awesome," I say "when does he come?"

"We pick him up at the airport Thursday,"

We all talk about that for a while before Hudson has to walk home.

"I'll walk you out babe,"

I walk him to his car and he kisses me.

"Make sure you tell your moms I say thank you,"

"You already did,"

"I know, I just wanna be polite,"

I kiss him and smile

"You excited for your new brother?"

"Oh ya, I love babies,"

He leaves and I go back.

"He didn't have to leave," Toni says

"Oh his parents aren't coming to Spain so he wanted to spend some time with them,"

"He seems nice," Robbie says "but he's not from Riverdale.."

"He's from Hawaii,"

I'm am so excited for my little brother.
