Toni's POV
Mia took her first steps a few days ago so it's been pretty hectic, especially since my nerve have died so my prosthetic won't work anymore.
"Whatcha doing Cher?" I ask seeing her typing
"I'm writing a book TT you know this,"
"Do I get to read this book?"
"You can read this one, I'm almost done the sequel,"
"You're fast,"
"It's non fiction Antoniette, it isn't difficult,"
She hands me a hard copy of a book

"From when you moved to Riverdale high, until graduation," she says "you changed the world TT, and you refused to do a book on yourself so I wrote what I knew and filled in from my perspective when I didn't,"
"I love the cover,"
"Ya they did a good job,"
I start reading and it's amazing
"Cher you did such a good job at this,"
"Thanks Tones, I tried my hardest,"
I kiss her temple and then crutch into the kitchen to find Mia.
"Hey troublemaker," I laugh seeing her giggle at the tv
"Mama are you feeling better?" Tony asks
"I am, DONT worry baby,"
"Are you going to football today?" Lexi asks
"Yes I am because you guys are having a fun day with Mommy,"
"Yay!" They both clap
"Robbies driving me okay babies? So I'm leaving now give mama a kiss,"
They both kiss my cheek and I stand back up to go out front
"Hey Toni, ready for go?" Robbie asks
"Ya sorry, Tony and Lexi wanted to say bye,"
"No problem,"
He starts driving
"Can I ask a question? I don't want you to think it's insensitive,"
"Sure Robbie,"
"How long.. until you are supposed to pass away? Our first game is in a month and a half and I was wondering if you were around,"
"It's supposed to be 4 weeks,"
"If you are still here can you coach that game?"
"Maybe Rob, I don't want to step on Reggie's toes,"
"He won't care,"
I nod and we get to the fields.
"You run ahead and get changed, I'm good here,"
He nods
I crutch to the fields and sit on the bleachers until Reggie comes out.
"Heard you were coming around today Topaz,"
"Wanted to see if you were screwing my program up," I joke
"Not a chance T,"
"I meant to ask, if I'm still around by your first game if I could just come on with you,"
"Of course T,"
"No one knows and I think being on the bench might keep the press off,"
"Of course Topaz,"
"COACH TOPAZ!!" Ralphy and Trey yell
"Hey guys, hows it going?"
"Please come back, coach mantle sucks," Trey says
"Why?" I laugh
"He doesn't let us play a game after Cardio,"
"Reggie," I laugh
"They're idiots,"
"You were an idiot and coach let us play,"
"You're lucky shes here," he sighs
We laugh and go threw their practice
"Looking good Reg,"
"Thanks Topaz,"
"Wanna come over for dinner with AJ and Liz? Liv and RJ are coming,"
"Sure Topaz,"
"Can you drive me home?" I laugh "Robbie is going to Treys,"
"Of course,"
"Toni you ready?" Robbie asks coming over
"If you want I can go with Reg, he's coming over for dinner,"
"Oh sure.."
"What's wrong?"
"I wanted to talk to you," he says "but I'll be home soon,"
"No it's cool," I say
"Ya I have to pick Liz and AJ up Anyways," Reg says
He nods and Reg leaves
We go to the car and he gets in
"So what's up?"
"Well, I have a boyfriend," he says
"Ooo who?"
"Ralphy,"
"Awe cute, predictable tho,"
"How?"
"Your other mother went for the QB too," I joke
He rolls his eyes and laughs
"You're okay with it?"
"Ya I don't care," I say "I told you Robs, I don't care that your bi,"
"I think I might be gay," he says "I don't know,"
"It doesn't matter to me Rob, or Cher. You never even have to pick, as long as your happy and safe, Cher and I will be happy,"
"Thank you," He says
"No problem kid, go have fun," I say grabbing my crutches
"You can tell Cheryl, she screams louder than you,"
I laugh and nod and he pulls away.
I go inside and Mia is screaming and crying.
She runs into the main hall where I am and looks at me
She keeps crying and looks at me
"MAMA!!"
Cher runs in and rolls her eyes
"Fun afternoon?" I laugh
"No."
I laugh and follow her and Mia to the kitchen.
"Give her to me babes," I say
She hands Mia to me and she sniffles
"What's wrong baby?"
"Mama left,"
"I left?"
She nods and rubs her eyes
"You're a big girl Mia right?" I ask
She nods and rubs her eyes
"Well what if I left? Forever?"
"NOOOO," she screams
I put her head on my shoulder and pat her back
"Monkey, of that ever happens- you be a good girl for mommy okay?"
She sniffles and nods
"Mama no go?" She asks
"Mamas not going anywhere right now okay?"
She nods and smiles. I kiss her forehead
"Mia, want nap time?" Cher asks
She nods and goes upstairs with Cher
"Hey babes," Cher says coming back downstairs and sitting beside me
I kiss her and smile
"Guess what?"
"What?"
"Robbie got a boyfriend,"
She gasps and smiles
"Who? Do I know him?"
"Ralphy,"
"Awe, he should invite him to Mia and your birthday celebration,"
"My birthday was last month,"
"And we didn't do anything because you were in pain," she says "Mia isn't going to remember it,"
I nod and she kisses my temple.
"I invited the Mantles over for dinner,"
"Think theyd be okay with pizza? I'm exhausted,"
"I'm sure they'd be fine with it babes,"
