Cheryl's POV
People start showing up for Mia and Toni's birthday party and everything's actually great
Toni's having a good day for once and all the kids are pretty happy.
"Hey love, where have you been?" I ask Toni as she crutches over to stand beside me
"I was helping Lexi with something,"
I nod and kiss her
"How are you?"
"I'm feeling good Cher," she says "I promise okay?"
"Okay,"
We go party for a while and then all sit around the porch and let the kids (except for Mia) play
"Here Cher I'll take Mia so you can have a drink,"
"Really?"
"Ya C, it's okay,"
I hand her Mia and Mia giggles
"Mama play?"
"Why don't we play later sweetheart?"
She nods and sits on Toni's leg.
"Mama?"
"Yes sweetheart,"
"Down ease?"
"Don't go bear the stairs okay baby?"
"Pomase?"
Toni smiles and lets her walk around.
"So Topaz we have an exhibition game tomorrow, you coming?"
"Where?"
"Riverdale Fields, home game,"
"Ya sure,"
"You're playing on the old fields?" Cher asks
"Ya, the new one is getting renovated again,"
She nods and shrugs
"Mama uppies!" Mia says pulling on my leg
"Baby go see mama,"
She looks confused and looks at Toni and then back at me
"Mama?"
"I'm mommy silly goose,"
"Pee?" She giggles
Toni and Reggie laugh
"Mommy," I repeat
"M-mopee,"
"Closer sweetheart, go see mama,"
She waddles over to Tones, who picks her up and kisses her cheek
"Are you tired monkey?"
She nods and rubs her eyes
"Cher can you put her down?"
I nod and take her upstairs
"Tay?" She asks
"Baby I'm not staying, I have to go,"
"Oh,"
"I'll be back okay?"
"Mama?"
"You'll see mama after your nap monkey,"
"Okay?"
I kiss her cheek and grab a baby monitor so when she wakes up we hear her.
I go downstairs and Rob and Ralphy are down there.
"Hey Mom, Wheres the birthday girl?" Rob asks
"Just went down for her nap, but she never sleeps for more than half an hour," I laugh
"Trust me I know, I sleep in the room beside her,"
"Mom, Toni told you that Ralphy and I are dating right?"
"She did. Hey Ralphy, make yourself at home, there's tons of food, you know where everything is- help yourself,"
"Thank you Mrs. Topaz,"
"It's Cheryl, Ralphy,"
"Where are Lexi and Tony Junior,"
"They are playing with LJ and AJ. You are here just in time to babysit," I tease
"Don't worry Ral, they pay really good,"
They both laugh and go play with the kid.
"C I heard the doorbell ring, I'm just going to go grab it," Toni says
"It's probably Veronica and Archie babes, I've got it,"
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure,"
She pecks my lips and I go grab the door.
"Hey guys I was just putting Mia down sorry," I say opening the door and seeing Ronnie Archie and a child "and who is this?"
"This is Bella," Ronnie says "I should've asked but the babysitter cancelled,"
"No that's fine, we have plenty of food, and room. How old are you Bella?"
"I'm four, but I'm five on Christmas!" She says
"On Christmas? That's a cool birthday," I say "you know I have a little girl who turned five a couple months ago?"
"Is she here?"
"She's in the backyard, wanna go meet her?"
Bella nods and grabs my hand.
"Alcohol is in the fridge, pop, juice, and water are in coolers in the back," I whisper to Ronnie
"Thank you,"
I nod and go out to the back yard with Bella.
"What's your name?"
"I'm Cheryl,"
"That's a pretty name,"
"Thank you,"
We get to where the kids are playing.
"Robbie this is Bella, she's Veronica and Archies little girl- the same age as Lexi," I say "mind if she hangs out?"
"Of course we don't mind, hey kiddo I'm Robbie,"
"Hi,"
"Lex, come here please,"
She comes over and hugs my leg.
"Lexi, this is Bella she's going to play with you today," I say "Bella this is Lexi,"
"Do you wanna play soccer?"
"I never played soccer,"
"I'll show you,"
They go off and play and I go back with the adults.
"Sorry again Cher," Ronnie says
"It's alright, Lexi needs more friends," I say
"Hm?" Toni asks
"Veronica and Archie brought their little girl. She's the same age as Lexi,"
"Awe what's her name?"
"Bella,"
"That's cute,"
Reggie and RJ start dinner And Mia wakes up from her nap half an hour later.
"I'll get her," Liz says
"It's alright Liz,"
"Cheryl you have three kids, sit, drink, I will grab Mia,"
I laugh and nod.
Rob and Ralph bring all the kids up to get ready to eat.

Toni's POV

"Hi Tony," I say picking TJ up
"Hi Mama,"
"How are you baby boy?"
"I'm good, LJ and AJ and Me played football,"
"That's fun,"
"Really fun, where's Mia? I thought it was her birthday,"
"She needed to nap, Aunt Lizzy just went to get her,"
Just on cue Liz walks in with Mia
"Toni she wanted you,"
"Thanks Liz,"
I readjust Tony so I can take Mia
"Happy birthday Mia," Tony says
"Tank you!" She giggles
"TJ come over here and get some food sweetheart," Cher yells
I put him down and he goes and gets a hotdog.
"Mama I go food?"
"Sure baby, go see mommy,"
She gets down and waddles to Cher.
She grabs her leg and Cher laughs and picks her up.
"Tones you want food now?"
"Just get the kids their stuff baby,"
She nods and gets the kids situated.
"Mama guess what?" Tony says coming over with LJ and AJ
"What?"
"Mommy said we get brownies after dinner!"
"Lucky boys," I laugh "go sit with uncle Reggie and eat okay?"
They nod and go sit with Reg.
"Here you go TT,"
"Thanks Cher, sorry I'm no help,"
"It's fine Tones. I'm good,"
She kisses me and I smile against her lips.
"Your painkillers are there Tones,"
I nod and help Mia eat and then eat.
"Babes you're okay if I Coach tomorrow,"
"Of course TT, we're going to come watch,"
"Good,"
"I love you TT, forever and always," she says kissing my temple
"I love you too Cher,"
