Toni's POV
We're in Toronto today and we decide to walk around.
"Babe those leggings look amazing on you," I say grabbing Cheryl's hips from behind "are they new?"
"Ya Lizzie and I bought them yesterday," she says looking in the mirror "you like?"
"I love them baby," I say kissing her cheek
"Mama do you like my new shirt?" Lexi asks
I turn around and pick her up
It's a USA jersey from when I played.
"I love it sweetheart, did mommy buy that for you?"
"No, uncle Reggie,"
"We have to remember to say thank you to Uncle Reggie," I say kissing her cheek
"Oh and Tony is awake," Lexi says
"Thanks buggy," Cher says "I'll go get him dressed and we can head out
"You also need a shirt,"
"This is an outfit TT,"
"Looks like a bra to me,"
She winks and goes to get Tony dressed.
"Mama, do you know what uncle ArJ told me?" Lex asks
"What did he tell you cutie?" I ask
"He said your name isn't actually mama- and that's why he doesn't call you that,"
"Did he now?" I laugh "what did he say my name is?"
"Bitch," she says
Cheryl walks in at that exact moment and looks at me
"Baby we don't use that word," I say "I don't know why RJ taught you that,"
"Alexis where did you learn that word?"
"Uncle RJ said it was mamas  weal name," she pouts "I'm sorry Mama,"
"It's alright baby," I say kissing her cheek
"Did he tell you my name?" Cher asks
She nods
"What if it's a bad word?"
"it's okay sweetie,"
"Chewyl," She says
"Cheryl?"
"Mhm,"
"That is my actual name baby,"
"It's pretty,"
"Thank you sweetheart,"
"Mama what's your name?"
"My actual name is Toni,"
She gasps and looks at her brother.
"What?" She asks
"He's named after me baby,"
"Ohh," she says
We go down to the lobby and run in the Mantle and RJ.
"Hey RJ, I had an interesting convo with Lexi today,"
"Cool? About what?" He asks confused
"She thought my real name was bitch and when I asked where she learned it. She said uncle ArJ,"
"Really?" Reggie asks him
"Shit, I forgot I even said that," he laughs awkwardly
"See I think it's hilarious- but Cher not so much. Just don't teach her anymore no no words please?"
"Of course, sorry Topaz,"
"It's alright bro," I laugh "we are heading out to do some sight seeing, but I'll text to meet up for lunch?"
"Sounds good," they say
I go back to Cheryl and the kids and take Tony.
"Hi baby, you're getting bigger," I say adjusting him
He smiles and grabs my hair
"Mama am I getting bigger?"
Lexi has an attention problem
She gets it from Cheryl
"Yes sweetheart, you are probably going to be taller than me,"
"Yay!"
I laugh and we walk to the downtown square in Toronto
"Mommy uP?" Lexi asks
"Sure babygirl," Cher laughs
"TONI CAN WE GET PICTURES?" Some media personnel ask
"Sure, Babe?"
"Sure T,"
We pose and smile for a few photos and then they start asking questions
"What is in the agenda today?"
"Well we are just touring, showing the kids the city today then i have a meeting and catching lunch with Mantle, Morgan, and the twins. After that we're probably just going to walk around and have some fun,"
"How do you feel knowing the boys involved in the shooting were released yesterday and have been seen in the city,"
"The.. boys.. what? What are you talking about?"
"The two Canadians involved in the Italy shooting were released- last night,"
I turn around and throw up in a garbage can.
"We'll answer more questions later in the week," Cher says
They all disperse and I shake my head at her
"Are you okay Toni?" She asks
"Fine, lets have some fun- right Lexi?"
"Mama are you sick?"
"No sweetheart, I'm okay,"
"Can we see the shawks now?"
"Sure baby," I smile
We go into the aquarium and it starts with the colourful fish.
"Tony look at that, it's a fishy," I laugh tickling his stomach
He babbles and leans closer to the tank.
"Babe come here," Cheryl says
I walk over and she kisses me.
"Is that what you wanted?" I ask
"No look at this fish,"
She points at a red and pink one.
"It's cute,"
"You're cute," I laugh "youre more excited than Lexi,"
We go see crabs and more fish.
Then we get to the sharks
"Mama mama, look at the shawk," Lexi says pointing up
"Ya Baby there's a lot of sharks,"
We're on a moving sidewalk that stops every once in a while
"How old are your kids? They're so cute," a lady says
"Awe Thank you. This is one is 4 months and Lexi is just over 2 years,"
"Wow that's exciting huh sweetie?"
Lexi nods and points at a shark
"You from here?" I ask
"Ya just moved here, you?"
"No, we're from Riverdale New York," I laugh "I'm a football coach,"
"Oh that's so cool,"
Tony starts bawling and I try and stop him
"Here babe, I'll go feed him. Poor baby hasn't eaten since breakfast,"
"Are you sure?"
"Of course T, make sure Lexi doesn't run,"
"I got her babe," I laugh
She kisses my cheek and takes Tony.
"Girlfriend?"
"Wife, 7 years,"
"Wow you seem young for that,"
"Got married the year after high school,"
"Cute," She says "you're lucky she seems great,"
"She is," I laugh
"Mama are you looking at the shawks?" Lexi asks me
"I am sweetheart," I say pointing at one "see that one is looking at you,"
"Shawks are funny,"
"Can you say shark for me sweetheart?"
"Shawk,"
"Baby please? Shark?"
"Sh-a-Rick?" She asks
"Much better girlie, good job,"
The side walk ends and we walk around the last area.
"Mama you can pet those fish," Lexi says
"Those are stingrays baby,"
"Stingwrays," She says
"Wanna touch them?" I ask
"Ya!"
"Be gentle baby," I say leaning her over
She touches one and brings her hand back quickly
"It's slimy,"
"It is slimy,"
"You touch one mama,"
I put my hand in there and touch one
"It's cool wight?"
"Very cool," I smile kissing her cheek
"Hey pretty lady," Cher says kissing my cheek
"Hi baby," I laugh "How is this monster?"
"He's okay now," she sighs "just had a smelly diaper and needed a bottle,"
"He's a cutie," I laugh kissing his head
"Mommy touch the stingray," Lexi says
Cheryl looks into the exposed water and shakes her head
"I don't like fish Lexi,"
"They aren't fish, they stringwrays,"
"Fine," she sighs
She puts her hand in and touches one of them
"Yay," Lexi cheers
"Proud Of you Cheryl,"
She give me a sarcastic smile and I kiss her
"Can you take Tony for a sec babe? My arms just got really tired,"
"Sure babe," I say taking him
Tony coos and grabs my hair.
"Hey baby, ya how are you baby boy?" I laugh kissing his nose
"I can take him again if you need me to Tones," Cher says
"No no babe I'm okay," I say "just relax,"
"Mama can I go on your shoulders?" Lexi asks
"Sure baby, just make sure you don't kick your brother please,"
She nods and Cheryl puts her on my shoulders
I re adjust tony and grab Cheryl's hand,
"You're cute," Cheryl says
"You're cute too baby," I say
"Mama mama, look at that building,"
I look at the CN tower and laugh
"Wanna go in the building sweetheart?"
"Can we?" She asks
"Sure babygirl,"
We walk in, pay and then get in the elevator.
"Mama, look," Lexi says pointing at the window
"You can see the entire city from here," I laugh
Lexi stares out the window in awe and Cher takes some pictures until we get to the top
"Mommy, STOP," Lexi yells
"What's wrong,"
"There's a hole over there,"
I look a few feet away and there's a glass floor.
"Oh baby, that isn't a hole," she says
Cher takes her off my shoulders and they walk to the glass floor.
Tony points over there and i walk towards Cher and Lexi
"Ready baby?" I ask putting him down
He starts having a meltdown and I pick him back up to calm him down.
"You didn't like that baby boy?" I hum bouncing him
He grabs my shirt and buries his face in it.
"You're alright baby, you're okay," I whisper
I move his head so he can see my face and he immediately brightens up.
"There you are sweetheart," I smile "see? You're okay buddy,"
He giggles and I bounce him for a while.
"Topaz! What are you doing here?" Reggie asks
He's in a tux- which is odd and I see Liz in a dress
"We're sight seeing- those two are playing on the glass floor," I say
"Why are you dressed up?" I ask
"I'm getting married," he says
"Today?"
"Ya 5 minutes. Reilly's ordained and I've been calling Cheryl for like half an hour,"
"Cheryl's phone died, why did you not call me?"
"Because we want Cheryl not you," he jokes "I also was overwhelmed,"
"Rightly so, I'll get Cheryl," I say "oh and congrats man,"
"Thank you,"
I run over to cheryl,"
"Hey babe, we have a wedding to go to,"
"Who's?"
"Reggie's,"
"Reggee alweady married," Lexi says
"No he's not," I laugh "let's go baby, we can come back after,"
I take Cher's hand and she picks Lexi up.
Liz hugs Cheryl and they go off with Lexi to do something.
"Wanna be my best woman?" Reggie asks
"I would be honoured to man,"
He hugs me and I hug him back.
"I'm so excited," he says
"Be excited, it'll be the best day of your life,"
RJ and Liv get here and the ceremony starts
They do their vows and kiss.
"Thanks for coming, let's have lunch I'm starving," Reggie says
"That's it?" Cheryl asks "no way,"
"That's all we wanted," Reggie says
"What about your dream wedding Liz?" Liv asks
"All I wanted was my dream guy, and I have that," she says kissing Reggie's cheek
"Give me 20 minutes and I'll get a reception," Cher says
"Really?" Reggie asks
"Seriously Reggie, I got this,"
"Fine, 20 minutes Blossom,"
"Deal, Babe- Take Lexi for me?"
"Of course Cheryl,"
She walks off, already in the phone with caterers and talking away.
"I want mommy," Lexi pouts
"Mommy is planning a party right now, you don't want to be around her,"
"Lexi, wanna come look at the gift shop?" RJ asks
"May I Mama?"
"Sure sweetie, be good please,"
She nods and walks off with rj and LJ
"Congrats man," I say "I think you should expect a present when you get home. Cheryl was very excited about this wedding,"
He laughs and takes Tony from me.
"You know my kid will be the same age as LJ and Tony Junior. We can have a super team in 16 years,"
"Wouldn't that be something?" I laugh
"What is your wife planning?" Liz asks "she really doesn't have to,"
"Who knows with Cheryl," I sigh "I can ask her to stop,"
"No I think having a party would be fun, right?" Reggie asks
"Ya, and you guys could bring the team for team bonding," Liz says
Cheryl starts walking like she's on a mission over here.
"Cher calm down," I say
"No time Topaz," she says "who's coming? I need numbers,"
"The football team the parents and the coaching staff," Reggie says
"I can fly both your parents in for five," she says "I have a Blossom industries plane in both Riverdale and JFK- but if that's not the closest to your parents it can leave within the next hour to get your parents. I couldn't remember your parents address Liz,"
"Do you want our parents there?" Liz asks
"Why not?" Reggie says
"Okay," Liz says "as long as it doesn't cost too much, we want money for the baby,"
"Liz, we got the cost," I say "it's fine,"
"Exactly," Cher says "I'll be back,"
She walks away again and I laugh
"You guys really don't have to pay for any of it,"
"Trust me- you're giving Cheryl just as much as shes giving you- maybe more," I say "she gets bored with both these hooligans at home,"
We walk around and I take Tony back so I can take pictures of them on the glass floor.
Tony babbles and points at the floor.
"Do you wanna try again sweetheart?" I ask
He grabs my hair and I sit down.
I slowly put him down and he looks down in awe.
"What's he doing?" Liz asks
"He was scared of the floor before," I say "I think he's just trying to figure it out,"
He crawls and taps Reggie's foot and points down.
"That's a far way down huh buddy?" He says
He babbles and punches Reggie's foot.
"Hey Tony Junior," he says picking him up
He starts getting fussy and I think he's hungry.
"Here Reggie, the poor baby hasn't eaten since the aquarium,"
I take him and notice we have no more bottles left.
We're trying to ween him off breastfeeding but I still do it at home.
"I'll be back guys, if RJ needs to take off can you guys grab Lex?"
"Sure Toni," Reggie says
I nod and go to the bathroom.
He latches in right away which makes it easier.
"All done sweetie?" I ask as he starts coughing
I start burping him and walk back out.
"Hi babes," Cher says
"Hey Cher, this little monster just needed something to eat,"
"I thought we agreed to ween him off breastfeeding,"
"We did, he had nothing else,"
She kisses me and takes him.
"Hi baby, I love you, yes I do," she says tickling his stomach
"Are you done with the party?"
"Not yet- just need to work some more leads," she says getting a phone call "here's one now,"
She starts talking French on the phone and Tony looks at me confused.
"She's talking funny huh Tony?"
He babbles and hits Cher in the face.
"Merci beaucoup, au reviour," She says hanging up "what do you want baby?"
"He was confused at your French,"
She laughs and tickles him.
"Well I have to get outfits for both him and Lexi. Can you call the football team or email them about this- and I know you don't want to shop so I'll see you at the hotel,"
"Are you sure? I can come,"
"I got this babe," she says
"Okay, text me the details please?"
"Of course,"
She sends me all the details for tonight and I send it to the team and coaching staff.
I go downstairs and am ready to leave when two people trap in in the hallway
"Who are you?" I ask
And then I realize- it's William and Anthony
The two boys who tried to murder me in Italy.
"Leave me alone please, I- I cant get hurt please," I beg backing up
"We aren't going to hurt you Toni," will says
Tears stream down my face as the flashbacks ensue.
"Please leave me alone," I whisper "please,"
"We just wanted to say sorry,"
"Apologies were accepted at the trial," I say
"But you never said sorry,"
"I never needed to,"
"For falsely accusing us?"
"I never accused you, I never said anything to the police on who I thought did it," I say "I didn't do it I swear,"
"Well Riley thinks you did. He gets out in 3 years. He's coming for your family, we're out now- and until you publicly state we were falsely imprisoned we aren't leaving you alone," he says "and you can tell your girlfriend we say hi,"
Think Toni think
"Tones?" RJ asks from the other side of the hallway
"Oh you didn't hear, me and Cher broke up," I say "hey babe, sorry I was just leaving,"
Confused, RJ looks at me with his eyebrows raised
"You're lying Topaz, we saw your press today. Two beautiful children,"
"Please just leave them alone, leave me alone," I say breaking down "I can't deal with this today,"
They see reggie come around the corner and bolt down the stairs.
Reggie immediately runs and hugs me.
"Is that who I think it was?"
"Depends,"
"The Canadians who shot you,"
I nod against his chest and keep crying.
"Should I call Cheryl?" Liv asks
"No," both me and reggie say
"She can't know they came near me," I say "I'll deal with it, let me call my lawyer,"
She nods and I calm down
"Sorry, I shouldn't have made such a big deal," I say shaking my head
"It's alright T," he says "what'd they say to you,"
"Don't worry about it- it's your wedding day- did you get the email,"
"I did, your wife is insane,"
"You're telling me," I laugh

Hopefully this'll all blow over

For now, I think we'll be okay.
